Service was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive so that was a positive.... However the food was average at best.... We were dissapointed with the fact that there were no specials available and a couple of the menu items such as the scallops were not available either.
The Thai fish cakes were dry and badly cooked. The Spanish omelette was a slice of a pre packed product and the chicken goujons were burned and tough in parts. The prawns were ok but the meatballs arrived long after everything else.... Expensive for what it was and the quality. Final straw was the unavailabilty of a credit card payment facility and so had to run across the road to the speed bank in the rain....
Not planning to go back there..... Just felt as though a honest review needed posting
joffanon Whilst I respect everyones opinion I would like to point out the following:
1. Every table contains a talker notifying all guests thst we do not accept cards, explains that we do not serve all of our dishes at once and that some dishes may be subject to a wait. It is your responsibility to ensure you have read and understand the information we provide. Additionally if you have read the reviews here you will have seen that this website informs you that we only accept cash.
2. Our menu clearly stares that all items are subject to availability. Scallops are seasonal and we do not like to use unsustainable produce. Your server will have informed you that scallops were unavailable upon giving you your menu.
3. All items are made fresh and nothing is bought in pre prepared. If you did not find the dishes provided to you to your satisfaction you should have notified your server immediatley and we would have addressed this for you at the time.
I find it very strange that you would have had such a bad experience and found the only way to rectify it was through a public forum.
It would appear that you would prefer a more consistent food provider and as such I would like to recommed 2 that I think you would enjoy. They are McDonalds and KFC. I believe you can pay using most major credit and debit cards, all items are always in stock and wait times are minimal.
I do hope you enjoy them.

Alanm68 People are entitled to their opinion you may not like what they say occasionally, but it is often a measure of an individual how they react to this criticism. You have been personal and derogatory in your response to my unbiased personal experience of your establishment.
As a matter of fact I do frequent the fast food franchises from time to time and you could learn a lot from them… The chicken at KFC is palatable and not burnt in parts, unlike your own and the salad dressing at McD’s is significantly fresher than your plate decoration….. Fundamentally they also respect the ethos that ‘the customer is always right’ hence why they will continue to go from strength to strength whereas you will ultimately run out of the ‘never to return’ customers such as myself and disappear over time.
As for your statement that non of your food is pre prepared….. You are having a laugh….how gullible do you think people are?
I half expected a barbed response from you and a banning from your establishment as per your previous comments to other reviews but nothing lost there…. I also chose a public forum as the paying clients that are lulled into thinking that Deliciosa is THE place to eat need a weighted insight into the dining experience that they may or may not have….. I may just have been unlucky and caught you on a bad night but I don’t think so….as for yourself please finish your apprenticeship at whatever greasy spoon you learned to cook at or just watch a few more cooking programmes on TV to improve your culinary skills that way your clientele may continue to return.
Cheers
