This place is an absolute classic. A greasy spoon during the day and a fabulously cheap thai restuaurant by night. You can also get great thai food during the day too!
As far as cheap eats in London go, this is an absolute must.

I love this place. Been holding the regular London Bloggers meetup here since November last year but we’ve had to move on as the function room isn’t wheelchair friendly.
None the less, it has a great bar, good food at reasonable prices and a good outdoor patio for you smokers (and everyone else in the summer). Add all that to the fact is it hidden away behind Waterloo means you can normally get a seat and served fairly quickly.

Ducked in for a quick drink on Tuesday night. Enjoyed the atmosphere and was most impressed with the friendliness of the staff - who also showed me the private function room they have upstairs. Seems to be a good selection of beers also. I’ll be popping back shortly for a taste of the hot pot, which along with a selection of very tasty sounding pies (or Pyes as they call them), makes a fairly handsome pub menu. Free Wi-Fi is an added bonus!
