Great Italian restaurant and I can only echo the reviews of others here. The portions were very large, the staff remarkably good humoured, especially dealing with large parties of people (I was on a table of 12). The food was served speedily with no problems at all. We had an early sitting, so unfortunately couldn’t take advantage of the piano bar, but I would definitely go back again & settle in for a late night & enjoy the warm atmosphere.

Nice pub that’s great to take out of town friends to if they want to see what a traditional London boozer looks like, as sadly there are few of them around now.
It’s small & cosy and the upstairs room is even smaller and cosier. They stock a good range of Young’s beer, including the very nice Kew Beer, which considering I live in Kew is actually only sold in about two pubs in Kew.
Feels Dickensian and I imagine would be a fantastic place to have a good old fashioned “lock in”.

I'm always impressed with bar staff who manage to keep their cool during office Xmas parties and serve everyone super speedily. We had a private room in Traffic for our Xmas party this year. From what I can remember of the food, it was well presented (although the parsnips with my Xmas roast were a tad too undercooked for me). I'd love to go back to enjoy the incredibly rich chocolate pudding without having downed copious amounts of alcohol beforehand.
Back to our friendly bar-man - not only did he provide a plethora of mixed orders at high speed, he also chatted pleasantly and gave us all some free house shots at the end of the evening - which in anyone's books is above and beyond the call of duty when you've been dealing with an office party.
