“Hot off the press” or rather “stylish out of a salon”: continuing my local hair salons research, I came across this very small place in the hospital TODAY (June 2009). My impressions? I didn`t need a complete restyle, so I went for a wash,cut & blow-dry, with which I am happy - and all for £26.

Have only been there once but reviewing it because the haircut turned out to be my best so far in London. I think it takes a lot of experience & skill to cut short female hair. The lady stylist in SE1 was brilliant at her job! On the day I had my hair done there was a discount offer - otherwise they are slightly expensive. When it comes to short crops though, I want my haircut to grow out without it being a mess after 2 weeks. So even in these hard times and for special occasions I am sometimes prepared to spend a bit extra on a quality cut.

I wanted a short & smart cut for a job interview. I had problems finding Escape, so I had to call them a couple of times. But it turned out to be worth it - my hairdresser was an Eastern European lady (sorry,I cannot remember her name) - she was friendly but to the point, listened to what I wanted and I walked out with a good haircut.
