Very good, nice atmosphere!
Pane E Vino is a great place for informal eating in Pocklington, the food is excellent, espeically some of the pasta dishes which are all really good, a definate highlight of the menu.
I’ve eaten here several times, over the summer a large group of us descended on the restaurant for a meal on the Saturday night, the staff were really great and the food brilliant! Started, main course & drinks (lots of drinks!!!!) came to less than £20 a head!!!!
They also do an “early bird” offer of any Past or Pizza for £5.95 before 7pm! Excellent value in my opinion.

Stayed at the Feathers during the summer of 2008 with a large group of friends in various types of room (doubles, twins, family room).
All rooms were spacious and comfortable with tea/coffee and television. Many of the self contained “chalets” at the back of the building were very modern, spacious and nicely decorated.
The cost of the accommodation was very reasonable and worked out at £23 per person per night for a group of 17 adults.
The bar area is area is comfortable and drink prices reasonable.
The restaurant is large and airy, the breakfast served was excellent with choices of cereals, fruit and cooked food.

Excellent!
The sandwiches here are to die for! I can recommend both the beef and coronation chicken. A choice of breads are usually available and again are fabulous.
The array of cakes and slices in the display cabinets are mouthwatering as are all of the other artisan foods on display in the shop.
The service is good, if eating in you order at the counter downstairs and your selection is brought upstairs to you.
For the quality the prices are excellent value!

A very good Chinese take away, the food is always of a very good quality but at the right price! Certainly superior in quality and price to other take aways in the Pocklington area. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, the service is always prompt.
Likes: Quality and Price!
Dislikes: No free prawn crackers! :(Recommendation: Crispy chilli beef!
