Porównując to ze standardem na polskich polach kempingowych, to naprawdę full wypas. Nie wiem, jak się to ma do innych kempingów w UK, bo nigdy wcześniej nie wynajmowałam tu przyczepy (stojącej), ale muszę przyznać, że byłam mile zaskoczona.
Kempingi są w pełni wyposażone, podzielona na pokoje, mają łazienkę z prysznicem, a nawet mikrofalówkę (choć niekoniecznie działającą:), telewizor i DVD (co nie znaczy, że dodatkowo nie znajdziemy gdzieś przypadkiem bokserów zostawionych przez poprzedniego urlopowicza).
Kemping znajduje się ok. 15 minut od plaży i od centrum miasteczka, które jest dość przeludnione, ze względu na najlepsze w Europie plaże do surfingu. Za to sam kemping jest bardzo spokojny, raczej gromadzi rodziny z dziećmi niż szalonych imprezowiczów, więc jeśli chcemy odpocząć, to na pewno jest to odpowiednie miejsce.
Na terenie ośrodka znajduje się mini market (asortyment pozostawia wiele do życzenia, bo co mi po ostrzałkach, kiedy nie mogę kupić mąki), knajpkę serwującą posiłki przez cały dzień, pizzeria, bar i pokój gier dla dzieciaków
W recepcji jest dostęp do Internetu; można też zakupić drobne pamiątki z Kornwalii.Oprócz wynajęcia przyczep, można tu rozbić namiot, za jedyne 7 funtów od osoby.

As it was my first encounter with surfing school, I have nothing to compare it with, but I must say that the experience was entirely positive.
Situated by a posh hotel may be a little misleading and makes it difficult to find, but the lessons are decently priced (£30-35 for 6-hour set – with a lunch break), the groups are small and the stuff is really helpful and friendly without unnecessary surfer’s cockiness.
The lessons take place on a quiet private beach, not on the fashionable Fistral, but if you’re a starter, that’s what you need, really.
At the end of the day you’ll get a surfers certificate and a free magazine and some summary of the basic tutorial. And the next day, you can count on a discount for renting the board and wetsuit. They’ll even let you surf outside the opening hours as long as you bring the board back:)
The only thing, I could moan about is the fact that if you want to bring you board back, you may find the gate to the beach locked and then you have to wait until someone with a key comes by to let you in.

Nice and quiet surfers cafe-bar with a relaxing atmosphere situated off the Newquay high-street. You can chill out here after a day in water on comfy sofas watching world best surfers on a loop or playing pool. The stuff is friendly, however slow when comes to cleaning the tables (getting the stuff delivered to the table doesn’t mean the dishes left but the previous customers will disappear). The reason, I suspect, is that the café is part of a local Christian centre and that all people working there are volunteers, so probably customer service is of secondary importance.
Nevertheless, they serve decent, inexpensive food (pancakes, paninis, burgers, jacket potatoes, salads – gluten free options available) along with smoothies, shakes, and flavoured coffees – each served with gingerbread cookie.
With only one ripping-off internet café in town it’s good to know that with every meal over £2,75 you can surt internet for free here (otherwise 5p per minute).
