This is a swimming pool rather than a leisure pool and as such the temperature is that bit cooler - great ! makes swimming that bit more comfortable. There is a childrens pool that is warmer and is joined to the main pool, through a shallow 'walkway' though this is usually seperated with a float line. Swimming teachers are really good with all levels of swimmers wanting to learn.
There are a few family changing rooms for those with babies or more than one youngster. The individual changing rooms are usually big enough for an adult and a child. Showers close to the pool to use before entering, and seperate men and ladies showers to use afterwards.
A well equiped gym on site too.
Plenty of parking outside, though some selfish individuals tend to park on the clearly labelled drop off access road or in the disabled and parent/toddler spaces. You would think that as they are attending apool/leisure centre, the extra 30 second walk would help with a basic stretch/warm up!

A great shop, which has unfortunately now closed. It couldn't compete with Asda for the mainstream novels. A real loss to the town :(
