Have to agree to the previous reviews. Probably the best pub in Harrogate. Great choice of well kept beers. great location. I have not tried the food but have been told its usually pretty good. Another Market Town Tavern winner although the small chain of pubs has just been sold to an Isle of Man outfit. Hope they keep up the standards.
Fsharpminor Yes is one of the few MTT group pubs I havent visited, I have revued several on Qype. But Im staying in Harrogate shortly so will try to give it a go. Thanks for the recommendation. The takeover doesnt seem to have altered things so frt thank goodness. As you say most of them are pretty good

Excellent bar. Very good choice of beers, efficient, friendly bar staff with a good knowledge of the beers on offer. Just what I have come to expect from a Market Town Tavern run pub.

Great pub. Good choice of well kept beers. Does get busy, especially on race days. friendly enough doorstaff discourage large parties. interesting use of recycled doors for the decor. Have to agree with a previous post about the toilets.
