yosport I was in the very same situation, shopping over the Christmas period, I spent alot of money in the various shops in the Tandem Centre. I had my children with me so with the added toilet stops ect I completely unintentionally overlooked the parking time limit until I received the penelty in the post. I wrote a NON aggressive letter of appeal explaining my genuine mistake in overlooking the time limit and sent it along with a copy of my receipts. They emailed me back to say the charge was cancelled.
Having done some research into the company I found that they are members of all the relevent bodies and do abide by all the required rules. I really do appreciate the parking at the Tandem centre and do see the need for this company’s input so there can be fair parking for all.
Most comments on various forums say ignore all correspondence so I just want to share my experience so you know they are just doing the job they are there to do but they are fair to genuine mistakes.
