Malmaison Reading - Reading

Very plush bedrooms and bathrooms. Directly opposite the station. Only downsides, no dressing gowns, shampoo or toothpaste in the rooms. Tv has very few channels. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel is very dark inside. Staff were helpful. Unfortunately, there is no car park but a discount is available if you want to use the ncp nearby.

Beyoglu - Belsize Park

I visited here with a few friends. The food is good, but not great. Unfortunately, it lacks in atmosphere. The name beyoglu is a bustling, exciting area of Istanbul; it doesn’t live up to the name. The Turkish restaurants in green lanes are busy, exciting and cheaper. I noticed items on the menu that are not in any way, shape or form Turkish such as tabbouleh which is an Arab food. We received the bill, and I was confused because I thought theres no way it could be that much. They slapped on an undeserved service charge. The staff had zero personality! I asked the waiter for something, and he didn’t acknowledge me so I wasn’t sure he heard me or not. It could do with older, more experienced staff, an authentic Turkish menu and some dancing. At the moment it appears to be targeted for foreigners not Turks.

Leonidas Chocolate - St. Johns Wood

This was the best place to buy chocolates in London in my opinion. I went there recently, although still good, i don't feel the quality is what it once was. I suspect it might have changed hands.

The Waterside - Fulham

Riverside Tower, Imperial Wharf, London SW6 2SU

You pay top dollar for drinks in this pub for the gorgeous Riverside view. The clientele appear to be well dressed and friendly. There is an underground car park opposite that you can park for free in if you get your ticket stamped at the bar.

Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital - Stanmore

Brockley Hill, Stanmore, London HA7 4LP

I think this is a great location for a hospital, as its set around nice grounds albeit a bit hilly. I think they are planning to rebuild the hospital, but alas its old and the NHS is short on funds.

It's on the edge of North West London/Hertfordshire borders. Nice scenic area with clean air to recover in for inpatients. The rheumatology department is great with courteous, helpful staff inc doctors, nurses, radiographers and porters. If you have an orthapaedic problem; go here and don't waste time with other hospitals that deal with anything and everything. It is world class! Theres no emergency department so you will need a referral from your G.P

Free parking too, not like other London hospitals that like to rip off sick people. Sometimes difficult to find a space, but if you have a blue badge your chances are increased and you dont have to climb the hill. The best in their field. If you go by public transport, Its set quite a bit away from Stanmore Station on the Jubilee line, but the hospital operate a free bus service or you can take a cab.

I reccomend the cafe in the building opposite the main outpatients to have a drink and a bit to eat. Its very reasonably priced and there are tables. Additionally, you're supporting the hospital. The kiosk in the outpatients is more expensive and no tables.

Nice for a quiet drink. Lacks any real atmosphere or excitement beyond that.

Great for a quiet drink with a partner. Nice big garden to sit out in. Bit in the middle of nowhere though, so not easy to get to without a car.

I stop by here for a take away from time to time. They provide a quick service and the falafels are amazing. Much cheaper than other kosher restaurants around the area. Good atmosphere at the weekend.

I've eaten here a few times and had a few take aways. I've always found the pizzas very tasty and the service friendly. I really like the decor inside; there are lots of pictures of celebrities. The food is reasonably priced too.

This is a lovely park with lots of plants and flowers. It's very well maintained. They also have lots of different species including different types of birds and butterflies. you can opt to sponsor an animal in the park. It is adjacent to Hampstead heath. Parking is a bit of a nightmare around the surrounding roads.
