I was here only yesterday with my kids & my parents and we had a lovely day. I'd been before, years ago, so knew that trainers are a must! We also took our own picnic food as we'd heard it was expensive to buy food there. The entrance prices weren't as steep as I'd expected, and there was lots to see. We only got round half the zoo, and we were there from about 10.30am to 4pm. We did have a 4 month old baby with us though! There were good facilities for babies and going through the cafes to get to the baby changing rooms, I noticed the food was actually fairly reasonably priced. Overall a great venue with plenty of parking, albeit some on the grass, but the grass area is designed to be parking and they have guides showing you where to head next.

Nags Head Inn - Wrexham

Used to go to the Nags Head at lunch times from work, and have also been after work a few times for their quiz / karaoke nights. A good time is usually had by all and the food is good too, definitely worth a visit as previous review says :)

This could be a really nice place if it wasn't for the admission fee and the typical Chicago's ring-a-bell-and-put-the-price-up phenomenon. There is plenty of seating and a smallish dance floor in the centre, it's often so loud in there though that you struggle to order drinks and resort to sign language!

Really like this little bakery, their window and counter are always full of mouthwatering sausage rolls, baps, cakes, pies and slices. They have a little indoor seating and a coffee/hot chocolate machine which means you can get a "meal deal" type of thing plus a hot drink, a definite plus. Although I have chosen "Average" for the pricing, they aren't expensive at all for what you get, but as it's quality stuff I am reluctant to choose "Budget". The only reason I've given them 4 stars not 5, is they should be bigger! :)

Gorgeous traditional breakfast, friendly service, and lovely cup of tea. Wouldnt hesitate to come again. Only negative thing is the gaps between most tables are slightly narrow so difficult for buggies, and there is a small step at the door so difficult for wheelchairs.

There are two "sides" to this place - the laundrette and the dry cleaners. I would recommend the dry cleaners, friendly service & reasonable prices. Unfortunately the other day when I took in a duvet to be laundered, and asked about the options for doing so, I was greeted with a "look", like I should already know that. Well considering the price list on the door is out of date (either that or plain wrong) it's just as well I asked. When I went back to collect the duvet, the same lady served me and was much more friendly. I had already paid though!! And when I got my duvet home, she had written my name on it in permanent marker!! I will feel like I'm on a sleepover every time I change the bed now! haha

Really nice little cafe, with lots of options – an all day breakfast, made-to-order sandwich or “meal deal”. Owner very friendly and welcoming, they also do outside catering for businesses in the area etc. Lovely food and service with a smile.

I had heard a few things about this place (i.e. the greasy tables) but when I was there for lunch with a friend from work, everywhere looked clean and tidy. The food was lovely too.

The food here is absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the parking isn’t great on certain days of the week, due to it all being on the street and a residential area.
