We went to the Hayride for a family meal. The place has a nice atmosphere and looks and feels friendly. Having found a table and ordered our meals then drinks, we were hardly back at the table when our starters arrived. The mains came just as quick after our starter plates had been taken away. The food I have to say is good and the portions were adequate too. After the meal the kids went outside to the play area for a while. Overall a good place to go if you want good food and to amuse the the kids when the meal has been eaten. Will definitely go again.

We went to ask some questions about getting a hamster for our little girls birthday. We knew that Syrian hamsters are solitary creatures and fight if put in together and that the Chinese hamsters can be kept in pairs.

The staff member when asked what was the best type to keep in pairs was honest enough to say that she was unsure but would get someone that did know. Sure enough the person she fetched gave us the information we wanted.

We will be getting the hamsters from acorn as we feel comfortable about their animal knowledge.
