I used RRG for a service and MOT this year and thought they were pretty good, all in all. Dealerships are obviously more expensive but I felt they did a thorough job and didn't overcharge. Customer service itself was also good - there was a bit of a hiccup on the day I arrived because they didn't have the courtesy car they had promised but luckily I was able to go back the next day and they gave me a discount on the price for my trouble.

I went for a meal here after hearing good reviews of another branch in Cambridge. I have to say it was pretty disappointing. We were ignored on arrival by no less than 6 members of staff and then asked to wait when someone finally did come and speak to us, despite the fact that the place was mostly empty. When he did return he took us to a table, practically grunted and left. Then things picked up somewhat as the waitress who took over was delightful - very helpful and attentive, despite being busy - and we were given menus straight away. The dining experience itself could have been better - the food was fairly expensive for the quality and some things were just plain wrong (I wouldn't advise the hollandaise sauce to anyone). Also, as the ceilings are high and the windows are huge, it's all very noisy and really quite cold. It felt a bit like a pub trying to be a restaurant, if you know what I mean.

This place gets great reviews wherever I look, is rated as a Cambridge institution etc, etc, but when I made the effort to seek it out I found it to be rather dull. I thought the food was ok, but nothing terribly special, and the surroundings were a bit canteenish. I guess people don't go for a 'fine dining' experience but I think even a mediocre experience passed me by really.

Cet endroit a de superbes critiques partout où je regarde et est considéré comme un établissement de Cambridge etc etc..mais lorsque j'ai fait l'effort de le chercher, j'ai trouve ca un peu ennyeux. Je pensais que la cuisine etait bonne, mais rien de sensationnelle, l'environnement faisait un peu cantine. Je suppose que les gens n'y vont pour un diner gastronomique mais je crois même que cette mauvaise experience ne m'a rien apporte.

Mi hermana y yo llevamos a mi madre para un día de spa y fue excelente. Conseguimos una muy buena oferta, creo que fueron 79 libras por un tratamiento de media hora, uso completo del gimnasio, una cena con tres platos y cama y desayuno. Puede que haya subido este año, pero sigue estando a buen precio si puedes conseguir una oferta ya que las habitaciones son bastante ostentosas y el spa está bien equipado. Es un sitio estupendo para un fin de semana de relax. Yo lo recomendaría para un regalo antes de una boda o para una escapada con amigos, siempre puedes enviar a tus amigos chicos a jugar al golf si no les apetece un tratamiento facial. Oh, y la comida está muy bien también. Bien presentada y sabrosa, y los vinos no son caros. Además hay cantidad de opciones de desayuno si sigues con hambre por la mañana. Volvería de nuevo sin duda.

My sister and I took my mum here for a spa day and it was excellent. We got a really good deal - I think it was £79 pp for a 30 minute treatment, full use of the gym/spa facilities, a three course evening meal and bed and breakfast. It might have gone up this year but it's still great value if you can get a deal as the rooms are pretty swanky and the spa is well kitted out. It's a great place for a relaxing weekend. I'd recommend it for a pre-wedding pamper or a jaunt with friends - you could always send your male counterparts off to try the golf course if they don't fancy a facial...Oh, and the food is good too - well presented and tasty and the wines aren't too expensive either. Plus there are plenty of choices at breakfast if you're still hungry in the morning! I'd definitely go again.

I e mia sorella abbiamo portato nostra mamma qui per un giorno al centro benessere ed è stato fantastico. Abbiamo fatto un affare - credo fosse £79 a testa per un trattamento di 30 minuti, uso della palestra / centro benessere, cena a tre corsi e bed and breakfast. Forse sono aumentati quest'anno, ma è comunque molto conveniente dato che le camere sono piuttosto belle e la spa è ben attrezzata. E'un posto ideale per un rilassante week-end. Lo raccomando per un relax pre-matrimonio o una gita con gli amici - puoi sempre mandare il tuo fidanzato fuori per provare il campo da golf, se non ha voglia di un trattamento viso ... Ah, e anche il cibo è buono - ben presentato e gustoso ed i vini non sono troppo costosi. Inoltre ci sono molte scelte per la colazione, se avete ancora fame la mattina! Mi piacerebbe ritornarci.

Nous avons vraiment fait une bonne affaire - je crois qu'on a payé £79 pour un soin de 30 minutes, accès illimité à la gym et au spa, un dîner de trois plats, la chambre et le petit-déjeuner. Ca a peut-être augmenté cette année, mais c'est toujours d'un bon rapport qualité/prix si vous trouvez une offre spéciale, car les chambres sont plutôt chics et le spa est bien équipé. C'est un endroit génial pour un week-end de détente. Je le recommanderais pour se faire belle avant un mariage ou pour une escapade entre amis - on peut toujours envoyer les hommes essayer le golf si un soin du visage ne les tente pas... Oh, et la nourriture est bonne aussi - bien présentée et savoureuse, et les vins ne sont pas trop chers non plus. Et il y a plein de choix au petit-déjeuner si vous avez toujours faim le matin ! J'y retournerai certainement.

Meine Schwester und ich nahmen meine Mutter hier für einen Wellness-Tag und es war sehr gut. Wir haben ein wirklich gutes Geschäft gemacht - ich glaube, es war £79 pro Person für eine 30-minütige Behandlung, vollen Gebrauch der Turnhalle-/Spa-Einrichtungen, ein Drei-Gänge-Abendessen, Übernachtung und Frühstück. Es könnte in diesem Jahr teurer geworden sein, aber es lohnt sich trotzdem, wenn man ein Angebot bekommt, da die Zimmer ziemlich protzig sind und das Heilbad gut ausgerüstet. Es ist ein großartiger Ort für ein entspannendes Wochenende. Ich würde es für eine Vor-Hochzeit-Verwöhnung oder für eine Spritztour mit Freunden empfehlen – man kann die männlichen Kollegen zum Golfplatz schicken, wenn sie keine Lust auf Gesichtsbehandlungen haben... Oh, und das Essen ist auch gut - gut präsentiert und schmackhaft, die Weine sind nicht allzu teuer. Es gibt ausserdem reichlich Auswahl beim Frühstück, wenn man noch Hunger am Morgen hat! Ich würde definitiv wieder gehen.

Tucked away on Longworth St (just behind Deansgate really - you'll never find it if you're looking on the main road!) El Rincon is a great place to have a relaxing long lunch with friends. It's friendly and the food is tasty and plentiful. I've really enjoyed my visits each time I've been and I would highly recommend the paella.To get that 'holiday' feeling I would also recommend a bottle of Cava, but I guess that's just personal preference. Oh and the artichokes are amazing!
