Mango Tree - Victoria
46 Grosvenor Place, Belgravia, London SW1X 7EQ
25-10-2011
Mango Tree offered an amazing venue, Minimalist chic Thai restaurant, a sleek, spacious, warm welcoming.
The staff and service was good (bar one well off waitress) but but the rest of the staff – the girl that welcomed us and the bar staff and everyone else where welcoming and attentive!
The cocktails and nibbles where Delicious in the bar while we waited to be seated.
But the food let it down.
We had a deal which was £20 for 3 courses and for that price its a fair price.
But if I was paying full price I would have felt short changed.
Not the best Thia food I have had by far.
Maybe though that is just because I know good Thia food.
Quite bland springs to mind. Nicely presented though!
So yeah nice restaurant all in all but not in a hurry to go back.
Maybe I’ll pop in for a cocktail though before heading somewhere else to eat.
Strada - Fitzrovia
9&10 Market Place, Mayfair, London W1W 8AQ
01-09-2011
So its a Strada the same as every other strada i have been in.
Good food not a bad price…
Always busy so you may have to wait a while for your bill and the rest, but the service is good the staff though i think they need more of them are always attentive and friendly. If your in the area and fancy some good Italian food with out breaking the bank you could do much worse.
Aishas Moroccan Cuisine - Fulham
106 New Kings Road, Chelsea, London sw6 4ly
30-08-2011
Aisha’s is a small yet great venue whose service matches the amazing Moroccan food, and fantastic value for money. Especially as you can bring your own alcohol..
We went to Aisha’s for a friends birthday they booked out the hole of the back of the restaurant for us really went out of there way as far as accommodating all of our needs. (some of our group are VERY fussy.)
We ordered a mixture of each of the starters, the Zaalouk, Houmous, Haloumi, and the King Prawns where my personal favorites but all of them where lovely.
Then for main I can highly recommended the vegetable lamb tagine the lamb was cooked perfectly melted in the mouth Delicious.
All of us left happy full and a wee bit merry and we all had change in our pocket as bringing your alcohol really does save you soo much ££ off of your bill.
Will defiantly be eating there again.
And for a party booking its the perfect venue.
Bed Supperclub ,Bangkok - Bangkok
Soi Sukumvit 11 26, Sukumvit Road, 10110 Bangkok
25-08-2011
I would definitely recommend this for anyone going to Bangkok.
Its the only place like it in Thailand (I think!) forget your shorts and flip flops. It is definitely dress up rather than your normal dress down affair.
And loved the concept of everyone having their meal “in bed”.
The lighting effects in the place are amazing, the whole interior is white with beds along each side of the restaurant and also upstairs. The venue is beautiful the people are beautiful the food is out of this world. As are the cocktails. Yummy
This is the most expensive night we had out in Thailand (It worked out to around £70 a head = nothing!) but to experience this quality of food, service, even the venue its self you would be pay triple the price any where else. Well worth every penny.
The club same set up – the beds. The music was the best house music we heard while out there. (not trance real house music.)
loved it
