Big Ben is one of Londons most famous landmarks and rightably so. If you get up close and look at the amazing detail of the tower you can not fail to be amazed. I love Big Ben because from so many vistas you see it! On the train south. On the South Bank. On the BBC news. On the London Bus Tours. On Westminster Bridge. On the London Eye. Despite other reviews saying how small it is - i disagree, it is perfectly in proportion to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. It is beautiful and grand without being vulgar. It is quintessentially British and I love it.
