Located in a bright unit at the back of St. Nicholas Market, (within the covered market) Cyan Arts offers a unique range of gifts, cards and affordable artwork. As well as selling artwork from the two resident artists and co-owners, Jade French and Gillian Stewart, each month there is a showcase for Guest Artists to display and sell their own artwork.
In July 2008 Mike Ronhof will be displaying pop art influenced paintings.
In August, Cyan Arts Opens its doors to the premier Photographic exhibition for ‘Second Look’, a Bristol based photographic group highlighting unnoticed parts of our city. Second Look will also be running a competition alongside their exhibition at Cyan Arts see myspace.com/bristolasecondlook for more details.
September’s artist will be Nina Griffee showing her impressionist twist of Bristol’s streets.
Cyan Arts also offers a chance to buy and listen to local unsigned musicians such as Blair Chadwick, The Cedar, Diana Johnstone, Fabric, Rob Spalding, Group 4, Bomb Circle, Sarah Menage, Maddie Southorn, Urusen and We are Strangers Minds.
