Just came across this new fishmongers today in Portobello. Dropped in and bought some salmon cutlets which were the freshest I have bought in a long time.
The place had a wonderful selection of fresh fresh and I was tempted to buy a lot more.
The place was spotless and the man who served me was very friendly. He told me they were just opened for 4 months. I will certainly be back to buy my fish next weekend.
If you love fresh fish then stop by Sea Pearls near the Portobello Pub.

This Centra and Esso garage is on the Dublin side of Athlone just off the new M6. It’s a great place to stop off when one is driving from Dublin to Galway. The Centra has a decent cafe serving hot dinners tea/coffee. Nice place to get a hot breakfast early in the morning.
There are also toilet facilites and an ATM available here too.

Ce garage Centra & Esso est du coté de Dublin d'Athlone juste à coté de la nouvelle M6. C'est un bon endroit pour s'arrêter quand vous conduisez de Dublin à Galway. Le Centra a un café décent servant des diners chauds thé/café. Agréable endroit pour prendre un petit déjeuner chaud tôt le matin. Il y a aussi des toilettes et un distributeur automatique ici.

Recently opened Polish Cake shop and cafe on Capel St.
Dropped in for the first time 2 weeks ago and got some nice Polish cakes as a gift.
Very friendly staff and most welcoming. There is a little cafe at the back of the shop with lots of Polish ex-pats drinking coffee and tea and catching up with their friends.
Worth a visit for a slice of Cracow Cake.

Easily the best and biggest pub in Tallaght.
I have only ever been here by day to eat.
