Nice decor, great range of drinks and real ale. Food is good and reasonably priced. Expensive just for drinks. Small car park.
They advertise that they open at 9:30am, but in reality, they often oversleep and nobody is about at that time. There is very limited seating if you only want a drink; really it a good place to take a lady on afirst date, but the place is really designed for LOMBARDS

Great sun terrace but constantly plays any kind of football match, even though not a crowd puller. Good music but doesn't start until after the football, around 10pm

Unreliable, but when they open the food can be excelent. Onece I had the best fish and chips of my life here, about 5 months ago, soon after they first opened, but then they seem to get complacent and the prices went up and the quality down, apparently they can't get the fat hot enough to cook the chips properly, but the fish is excellent; most of the locals just have a take away fish. They advertise special offers on Sundays, pie of the day, but the offer is valid when they are closed; I think they had a good summer 2012 and now they feel they are home and dry. I would go back, but woudt think twice about eating in. The cod is brilliant, they also do haddock, but to omit that it is NOT boneless and skinless, like the cod

Great location, fair price but poor service from deaf, dumb and grumpy staff. I come here because the terrace gets the winter and late sun and you can watch the world go by, but frankly they don't seem to want or deserve the business, especially from the British

Great daytime bar, attractive staff and nice music. At night it turns into a night club, youth club so not my scene, they also sell cigarettes in bulk, cheaply

I went to one in the chain in Leicester UK, it was excellent so wanted to try here last week, there were no customers and cook and waitress were watching x factor really load, I asked if they could turn it down or off, they said no so I left without eating, when I returned yesterday they were shut, on 23rd December, no sure if permanent or not, but I'm sad to say they don't want or deserve the business or the name

Staff are friendly and helpful, but the newly built shell is mundane and clinical, beer is over £3 a pint which I think is expensive for such an uninteresting place Food is average quality but facilities are ideal for un discerning families with lots of space and many big tables. Free Wifi is a big assest for business lunches

Great sun terrace and reasonable prices, however, staff are unsociable and I felt I was a nuisance by ordering a beer, Bouncy castle is unoccupied but drowns out the music. No sat check. Overall ok, but no reason to re-visit.
