I have been staying here on and off for 15 years or more, most recently for four nights with my wife in June, but I also stayed there Wednesday night whilst on business in the area. I felt sure I had done a previous review , but cant find it on Qype. Its marketed under the Best Western banner, usually reliable.
Its a small comfortable hotel efficiently run and 5 mins walk from Avon Beach.
Staff polite and attentive, rooms comfortable with most requirements and Wi-Fi.
I have had some good dinners here too. There is a 5/5/5 table d’hote menu which runs for a week before they change it, but you can also select from an extensive bar menu if there nothing you fancy on Table d’Hote. I had breaded garlic mushrooms with a garlic dip – delicious and an old favourite of mine. Then the lamb dish , which was a Shepherds pie in a pot, but also came with two ‘rack’ cutlets, well trimmed and perfectly cooked. Mint sauce was supplied promptly. Maybe the pie was just a little salty.
An excellent breakfast is served directly from the kitchen , no attempt to try the hot buffet which always fails to keep things hot. Two fish options were available as well as the usual grills.

Mrs and I had lunch here last week.
Soup and baguette we of excellent quality, apart form the lettuce being a bit limp. Service came with a smile from staff eager to please.
Yes maybe a touch expensive, but in this location well justified.
