A Marstons pub on the outskirts of Leek and recently renovated and changed landlord. Often very quiet but comfortable. Food available everyday. Basic menu but the Curry Night on Wednesdays is very good value.

The Marroniers was one of our favourite restaurants with very friendly service from the owner/chef, Giles. It has recently (late 2010) changed hands and I haven't been since. The rating is based on many earlier visits!

Amazing range of Belgian beers but take a tee-total driver with you as many of them are very strong. Comfortable and pleasant atmosphere with mix of ages. Not the cheapest place to drink in Leek but one of the most interesting.

This is definitely a dining pub. We had a good meal on their "steak night" (Thursdays) when steaks are £5 off. I had one of the best cooked fillet steaks I have tasted! Not the place to go for a quiet drink though as all the tables appeared to be set for eating in the evening. Friendly and helpful staff. You probably need to book!
