I use to be a regular user of this company, however, several months ago, I had a very bad experience with them. I contacted them to let them know what happened but have had no real resolution. Someone left me a message to contact the office regarding the situation and I did return the call, however no one ever called me back.
A couple of months ago, I'd organised a taxi for a pick up in hackney. I was told the wait was approximately 30 mins which I agreed to. After waiting for over 30 mins I'd decided to go with my friend in her taxi before going home to my place. It was very late and freezing cold!! However, FIRST I called their office to cancel the taxi which they said was fine and not a problem. If the office had told me the taxi was 5 mins away, I would've waited. However the office said it was ok to cancel. Approximately 10 mins later I receive a call telling me the taxi was 10 mins away. I explained that I called up to cancel and that I'd gone elsewhere now. The person on the phone said I'd have to pay a £10 cancellation fee which I refuse as the office had originally said it was fine to cancel. When I arrived home eventually a strange man started to approach me and then started to follow me for over a couple of blocks which I strongly suspect was the taxi driver! Granted I have no proof of this, but it did strike me as coincidental that a person made a direct path towards me as soon as I exited from a taxi and followed me for a couple of blocks. To be honest, this terrified me most of all.
Since
this was such an unpleasant experience I've not use your company for a few
weeks. I then decided to try the company again (thinking maybe it was my
imagination), however, when I called, I was told I owe the driver £10. So I
have since stopped using this company altogether. I use to promote this company
to my friends, however, I now tell everyone I know about my experience and they’ve
also boycotted the company.

Poor food accompanied by poor service
My friend took me to lunch at the Goldfish for dim sum as it had a good reputation.
Decor’s not too bad. It was very quiet. I think there were only 2 other people in the restaurant.
We had the dim sum and while I wasn’t expecting trolley service for the small venue, I thought we’d get a choice of dishes. However, dishes were just randomly brought out. Later on they let us choose from a few baskets that they had in their hand. Which then leads me to the question of how long had they been prepared for?? We asked for some pork and prawn dumplings, but they didn’t have any, there was no pork at all. The waitress had very limited English and could barely understand us at all and we could not understand her. I ordered a flower tea, for one. However, later on my friend was feeling a bit ill from the food so I offered her some tea. We requested another cup however; we later found out with the bill that they charged us tea for 2. They said that the tea was per person not per pot. I’d understand this if fresh tea was constantly provided, however the waitress only topped it up with hot water so the second pot was already weak and the third refill was essentially tinted water. We asked if 10 people had the tea, would they charge £25 and they said yes, so essentially, £25 for 1 little teabag...
The entire bill came to £50 which we both thought was expensive not only for the quality of food but the quantity also.
So for terrible service, expensive and mediocre food, I don’t think we’ll ever return again.
