    Goose On The Green

I wish I could rate no stars. It used to be a nice place for food, reasonably priced and cheap booze but after today’s debacle I refuse to go back. A group of 5 of us went and ordered our food plus two sides - the prawn squewers and cheesey wedges. We ordered them seperatly because one of our party is allergic to shellfish. Not only did they arrive on the same plate but only one sqewer came. The menu clearly stated two. After complaining and not backing down to some imaginary new menu idea they had the manager refused to deal with us. After threatening trading standards (not so much a threat my housemate is writing the letter as i write this) he took our food from us (mid eating) and gave a refund for uneaten food. I am not happy with this place and will not be going back.

Go to any jack in the box in the seattle area and you will be amazed by the food. Orgasm burgers (well thats what I called them, they are actually Serloin Burgers) with oreo shakes and a cherry on top every time. Friendly staff, great food, fills you up and it is open 24/7 in most places. (drive through after 10pm)

    the keg

Fancy food, expensive but worth it. I had a steak the size of a baseball and it was rare to perfection. Snails for starter were yummy and the desert was to die for. You can even take away your left overs for later (as like most of the US). The staff are friendly and you must try their Golden Goose cocktail. Over all this place I would go to any time I visit seattle.

Don’t forget to say if it is your first time at the Keg though… you might get a visit from the manager welcoming you.

    pikes place

This place is home to the famous fishmongers that throw fish. Yes, they throw the fish to one another when sorting out which bits to cut. The fish is very very fresh as well as other things available in this market there is nuts, donuts, a comic store, nice food, good views of the bay, and lots more. It also has a small farmers market, thick hot chocolate and mulled cider plus lots of random shops that you have to be there to look for. It’s a great day out in a fun city.
