A really nice really friendly chinese restaurant along the Springfield road. Offering takeaway and eat in. Only problem is parking there are public carparks but you will need to walk for 7mins or so. Been here several times in a large group from work and staff have always been great, food served together not too much wait, and with lots of people asking for different things no problems. Price is resonable about the same as any other Chinese restaurant.

A Beefeater restaurant chain pub/restuarant. Set back just off the A13 at The Five Bells roundabout next door to a Travel Lodge. A really inside, gentle lightening, cosy seating, fireplaces. A good menu offering steaks, burgers, sandwiches. A good deal if you eat before a certain tim (6.30pm I think)where selected meals are £5.99 still the same size portion - which is big enough for lunch or an early dinner. Children welcome. You order food at the bar and then it is brought to your table and you pay as you order. Not the quickest service but food cooked fresh so worth the wait. Overall a great place for dinner, lunch or just a drink. Music not too loud so you can hear yourself talk. Great parking.

Fab resturant based on an American Diner Theme. Does have a large choice of meal and not every thing is served with chips ! Huge servings but you can get a doggy bag to take home. A great small bar area to meet beforehand offering a wide choice of cocktails alcholic and non. Great for birthdays and special occasions as the staff will all come and sing to you (if you like that kind of thing) A great informal restaurant where you can go as a crowd or couple and feel comfortable no frills but good value good food good atmosphere. been in Chelmsford for years - and not changed, which is a good thing. Parking in roads nearby for evenings but a bit more of a walk during lunch time to find parking. Friendly staff. Make sure you leave room for dessert !

Offer a great friendly service for domestic pets. We use this vets for our cat and visit for annual injections. Vets and reception staff have always been helpful and knowledgable. From the outside it looks like a normal house although painted pink. A carpark to the front. Resonably priced - about the smae as everywhere else. Also sell a small range of animals bits and pieces.

For reviews please go to Fun Junction as this shop has now changed names. A great shop well worth a visit. Sells a great range of toys, puzzles, educational items and much more. Friendly staff, good prices. They offer a catalouge worth taking one as you miss so much while in shop as it is only small but crammed full.

I have been on here three times (all with different people) and last weekend end we took the children (7 years old). We pre-booked our tickets on-line and collected from a machine just inside the office area, this was pain free and very easy. Fortuantely there was no queue and although we still had half an hour till our 'flight time’ we were able to board immediatley. The children were slightly nervous at first but on seeing you did not need to be strapped in were slight less worried. We had a great time and it was a clear day so was able to see many landmarks, the view is amazing. My only negative is that it is a shame they do not offer a commentary as I feel a few pointers at what your looking at would be helpful. A guide book is extar and while looking at this and deceiding what to look at you are missing the view. Photos come out well even though you are behind glass. Overall a great 30 mins.

Have attended this sports centre for half-term activities. The children have taken part in various sports based actitives. The staff have been friendly and approach for the children and they have always had a great time. We have also attended several birthday parties here - fun&games and football all though they do offer several more themes. After the party games you can book the upstairs room and bring your own food, music, party bags and continue the party. I feel that the parties and holiday activities are resonably priced. They have a large carpark at the front although on football days this can be full. my husband has attended several Chelsmford City Games and has taken the children as teh atmosphere is family friendly.

A really nice friendly, family theatre. We have been here several times for the smaller childrens shows which have taken place in the smaller theatre to the side - all have been fantastic and the children have enjoyed, resonably priced. We have also seen the pantomine for the last three years and again everyone has been brilliant. We find because it is a smaller theatre you feel more part of the show and the children can see more and not feel overwhelmed. The prices for ice-creams and sweets are also more resonable compared with large theatres/cinemas.

Carpark to the side and if after hours is only £1.

A photo centre at the top of the high street. This shop offers photo developing - various services from 1 hour to premuim printing. They have the machines in store which you put in your own disc/card and choose which ones you want printed and how. They also have a large range of cameras and camera equipment. I have used this store a couple of times for processing and found them to be reilable and resonably priced. Staff friendly and knowlegble especially when you need information on what camera/equipment. This store also has an online site.

A fab farm shop based in galleywood - although this is more than just a farm shop. In season they offer pick-your-own strawberries (on tables so no bending) cherries, raspberries, plums and many more - check website for calendar. 2 specail apple days a year - offering 40 varieties. They also have a little area at the side where you can see the goats and pigs who do not mind you stroking them. There is also a few ride on tractors in this area. When you go into the shop they also let you taste the different apples before you buy. A great little shop with all the usual farm shop wares. We mainly go here to do strawberry picking and always have a great few hours. Staff are friendly and knowlegable.
