This WHSmiths is a not a bad store it always has a good stack a magazines and newspapers. It also sells book, games, music, stationery and cds. Some of the prices can be a bit on the expensive side if you compare with the internet but not bad in comparision to other stores. They are worth a visit when they have offers on and they take most book vouchers. It is easy to find as it is located in the centre of pontypridd.

This is a great wetherspoons pub in the town centrw of pontypridd. It serves good food at reasonable prices and also has a childrens menu. I have always food the food to be hot and quick. There has good nights during the week like curry and steak night when you can have a curry, rice and side order and a pint or alternative for I think it was £5.99 last time i visited.
It normally has a DJ at weekends and can get quite busy early on Friday and Saturday nights. It also helps as the beer is also cheaper than some of the other bars in pontypridd.

I normally get my petrol here if not going to a supermarket to fill up. Prices are above average but normally the cheapest locally. The staff are always helpful and it might be worth collecting points on the loyaty card if you are a regular customer. There is also a cash machine outside which comes in handy.

The shop is heaven I have never seem such a wide range of fantastic tasting ice-cream. You can buy a single portion or you purchase in tub to take away. They have a good range of cones and a huge amount of toppings. I would recomend the waffle cones where you can choose 2 or 3 different ice-creams, cherries or fruit then cream with sprinkles nut and flake. The lemon and lime cheese cake flavour is also very good. They also sell sorbet, iced lollies and ice cream cakes.

I really like this Aldi they have all the Aldi main items at reasonable prices. Food wise they do always seem to have the same items every week. I find it handy to buy sometimes then go to another supermarket for the rest of the items, I would struggle to do a main weekly shop there. (Fussy Children). They have a really good range of cheese which is much cheaper than the main supermarkets. My only grubble is that you have to check the sell by dates.

My Partner and I normally get our tyres here as they have reasonably prices. If they don’t have the tyres in they will order them for you always seem to get them by the next day.
I normally call up to check they have them and then you can wait or just drop the car off for 30 minutes and come back.
It is normally quiet busy on a Saturday morning but always ready within 30 minutes.

This store is in the centre of Tonypandy and has a good size carpark but also have a bus stop and taxi rank just outside. This store has a good variety of items including cooked chickens and freshly baked bread.
It doesn’t seem to be as busy now that Asda has opened locally. It is good to call in for forgotten items and does have good offers from time to time.

The staff are really helpful and don’t make you feel that you are wasting their time. It can be really busy during mid morning and early afternoon. I normally call in after 4.00 and there are normally no queues for the cashier or the personal banker.

Bargain Store that always seems to be full of stock. The staff always seem really busy trying to fill the shelves. It is really good valve for cakes, biscuits and food stuff like coffee. I always pop in if I am passing and nearly always end up buying something. I have brough seem nice tea lighters there and sometimes they have a nice branded shampoo. It is definately worth a look.

Greggs has all the normal Greggs standard items but the staff are really helpful. We normally place an order to collect for work at 8.30 in the morning and they always have it ready for us. The food is always fresh snd smells and tastes amazing. They also have some lower calorie options and sell water as well as the usual bottled drinks. If you place an early order they have always been happy to make sandwiches or rolls without butter etc.
