This website/services gets no stars from me. I booked to stay at The George in Victoria the day before and they took payment at the time I received an ebooking email receipt. When I arrived at the hotel 5pm they had no record of my booking. I gave them my booking references and all the details. They called HQ and they and I repeated the details over and over. Level of English comprehension was very poor (and i really dont like to say that) After much to ing and fro ing on the phone for 30+ mins I was told they had found me a room in Paddington which was a half hour tube ride away from where I needed to be. So I trudged off over there to the new hotel which was disgusting. And a nother review about that one will come.
Worst experience of my life. I will never use the service again. If I do book online I will contact the hotels and each stage
separately to confirm they got the booking
Which I know I should have done. My mistake.
Ugh it won’t let me give no stars. Ok 1 star but consider that unworthy.

Lovely comfortable and very quirky place
I felt very welcome and spoiled.
Andrew was a charming, attentive and helpful host. I had the beautiful Pelmet room which was comfy and quiet. It had its own huge private bath and showerroom.
Breakfast was vegetarian but delicious and healthy, Fresh fruit, toast and the veggie Equivalent of a full English ;) Andrew was very helpful and had Soya milk on offer for my dairy allergy
It was a little steeper than I would normally consider but it was worth every penny. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Would definitely recommend this place

Not impressed at all but I guess that's modern art for you. He takes 3 yrs to dosomething any could do in seconds. His one colour textures I enjoy. I think he should concentrate on these

Beautiful location lovely atmosphere great food. Very pricey but they fall short on service. I guess they don't feel they need to try very hard. Definitely worth a visit though if only for a drink

A lovely little shop to stumble into, in one of the most beautiful villages on the Berkshire/Oxford borders.
Full of treasure... Candles, crystals, beads and gifts with esoterica hidden in between.
Recently taken over by the lovely Lisa Petronzio she's full of charm, enthusiasm.
Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through or stopping for lunch by the river.

Great Vibe and atmosphere, friendly pleasant staff. It took us a while to get down and served but to be honest we were disappointed by the meal. The starter of Mozarella and Pesto (forgive me if I don’t recall the official name) was pretty dull, way too much pesto for the subtle nutty flavour of the mozarella. My friend had was experimenting chose crab fritti as something different, but was just not impressed. the Funky fries were just dull. My own sausage pasta was bland and greasy, left a funny feeling in my tummy and hmm not sure maybe I’m sensitive. The Tiramisu was all spongey and also bland, no hint of anything exciting at all. The Pinot Grigio Rose was delicious though as was the strawberry cocktail - a rossini or something. Sorry this is not a very inspiring review but I thought I’d try Jamie’s as I love his books and thing he’s great but I might go back and try something else again. Perhaps we managed to pick the dull choices for every course. I thought it was very reasonably priced when we went in but when it all added up 3 courses for 2 people, Olives and drinks to 70 I was a bit shocked, but then it’s the alchohol that always adds up as we know
