Have used buttys for years, so has my dad, mum and brothers and workmates. The owner is a lovely lady and the staff always love a bit of banter. Chili sausage and chilli mayo baguette is my fave, oh and cant forget the roast pork carvery with crackling and stuffing!!!!!! Pow

One of the best sandwich shops around, love the types of meats on offer including the south african sauagae. he coleslaw is also one of the best i have tried. Sweet in the bag for afters is a right touch.

Legendary Shop. Reminds of being a kid everytime I walk past here. The smell of the tobacco is just awesome!

Lovely blonde girl who works in here. Definitley encourgaes me to come back. Also they sell wainwrights and a very cheap price!

The roast here on a Sunday is one of the best in the area and the price is ideal. Loads of veg including mashed swede and if you are feeling really hungry the big boy serving is for you. Bit of a challenge though! Owners are friendly and chatty and always busy so make sure you book in advance.

I beg to differ. Last few times and i mean last. Had to wait an hour for a table which meant drinking at the overpriced bar! Food is always slightly burnt and not a big fan of the waiting staffs attitude. Only saving grace is the salad bar as always oh when its fully stock that is. My suggestion would be to stay clear of this place and maybe try a few of the local pubs for food.

Definitley one of the best 'foodie' pubs in the South East. Friendly staff and the food is well presented. Little bit pricey but its quality overcomes that factor. Good for a first date.
