I was pleasantly surprised about Ueberlingen. I thought it was just a little town out of the way from the big famous ones like Meerburg and Lindau. But the town centre was beautiful, lots of things to see and do, good restaurants and the town tries its best to take care of guests, with such things as the “Guest card” which gives you free trips on the town bus. Nice touch. I would love to go back here again.

We had no reservation, but when we arrived we were able to chose between several tent sites, 2 of which were right by the lake. We really liked this camping ground, quite peaceful, mostly older campers and only a few children. All the facilities were very well taken care of and clean. The location is a little out of Ueberlingen, so we wished we had our bikes with us. Would definitely go back.

This place is a real gem. One of the staff members spoke English -helpfull for those who are some what challenged in the Deutsch area. I had some beautiful scones with amazing jam and creme fraiche(?) - You can also purchase many kinds of tea and chocolate to take home with you. You might want to check the opening times - I think it is closed on Mondays.

I was here twice, once for a check up and once for a small operation to remove a mole from my face. Both times the service was excellent and the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and skillful. The operation on my face was very well done and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. As my German is not up to speaking about medical problems they were happy to speak to me in English and made an extra effort to call me and explain the results from my tests as well.
