I was looking forward to the opening of Market as I work in the area; it looked very modern and homely. The food isn’t bad, simple home cooked British food. That’s where the positives stop. The owner / manager is so, so rude!! And because the service is so bad, I will not be going back! We went during the colder months and she would not shut the door (we were sat right next to it and it was freezing, plus the traffic noise and fumes from Parkway). Her general atitude is all wrong. Sorry Market, but seeing as we don’t like the service, we’ll be taking our business and client entertainment elsewhere (and yes we’re one of the biggest companies in the area!). This place had good potential. Shame.

Great little place and the lunch time deal is good! They never seem to be phased by the large groups of people we bring either! Friendly service and decent food.

Best burgers in town - no question! So much choice and the onion rings alone keep me going back! Do book ahead for lunchtimes and weekends, they’re not a chain so don’t think there are any other Haches around.

The best Greek food outside Greece! Wonderful hearty homecooked dishes! Great atmosphere and fairly good service. Have been here of an evening and at lunchtimes - never fails to impress. Good for large groups too.

From the outside it looks like a soul-less corporate office block, but inside is a clean, classic and modern interior. Very classy. The owner is great and very friendly, as were all of the staff. They say this restaurant has been in Camden for years, so it’s a bit of an institution. The food is great, top quality. Great wine list. Great for a treat, impressing clients or a special occasion. There were no rivals in the area, but now Gordon Ramsays York & Albany is a contender. Camden Brasserie wins on authenticity and consistently good food and service.

It’s great to see another high end bar / restaurant in Camden. The problem with this place is not the food (we sat opposite the open kitchen and the chefs looked very on the ball), the problem is the staff. Generally the service is good, but on a few occasions we waited half an hour for a cheeseboard and about twenty five minutes for the bill. I thought Gordon Ramsay Holdings prided itself on staff quality - not sure at the Y&A - and there’s plenty of them (sometimes way more staff than customers on a quiet lunch time). Go once for the experience, not sure if you’ll go back. The bar is good and the cocktails are the best in the area! Our waiter told us how expensive he thought our drinks were, not sure that’s the best sales technique! All in all, a place with great potential that hasn’t been fully realised yet.

What a great local gem! The food is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable! Not at all like the same old pizza and pasta chains, this place is very authentic, doesn’t serve pizza and has some amazing italian starters I haven’t had anywhere else. Like it’s namesake the Fiat 500, the wine list is small but perfectly formed! By the glass wines are a bargain too. There’s a lady who’s always there, not sure if she’s the manager, but she gives a very warm and friendly welcome. Book ahead - they seem to be booked out most nights (yes even on a Tuesday) since the observer and time out discovered them. Well worth a visit for some great, homecooked italian food. Try the risotto, its the best.

The food was great, the service was attentive yet not overly in your face and the setting of the restaurant is amazing. One of the best restaurants in town. Portions weren’t too bad for us, we had 3 courses and felt nicely full at the end. We had our tea and coffee in The Fumoir (the bar next door) and our waitress was great at sorting that for us. Couldn’t fault a thing - can’t wait to go back!

Let’s be honest, not the nicest of places, looks a bit tired and dated inside, but the food is good. Love the Pad Thai noodles. Dishes are sometimes a little greasy but we forgive them as we keep going back.
