If you would like to get a feel for just how bad pub food in London can be then this is the place to visit.  The Chicken Caesar salad we ordered cost £10, it was described as a Main Lunchtime meal.  It consisted of a few chopped-up iceberg lettuce leaves and a dollop of mayonnaise, nothing else.  No tomatoes, onions other vegetables, no bread or potatoes and no discernible chicken.  A friend ordered salmon fishcakes for the same price, which came with potato wedges.  The latter were uneatable because the outside was cooked but the inside were still frozen.
