Okay place to spend an hour in Paddington. Decent, but unimaginative, menu.

No smell of fox when I visited yesterday a couple if times. A very warm welcome in this cost pub, not far from Whiteladies Road. Lovely bar staff, and a good atmosphere. I will be back.

The Castle Inn seems to have lost a bit of it's polish and is now more impersonal. The landlord was disinterested and hardly took the trouble to interact with customers. The beer range is good, as was the food.

Definitive place to shop in Cambridge. Good espresso bar / café on 3rd floor with great views over city.

Bar staff were nice and friendly and the food is well priced. Sadly the noise, smell of cigarette smoke and ropy food made it a disappointing experience overall.

Lovely food, good quality. This is a cut above normal pub food. It was busy on a Sunday lunchtime: waited almost half an hour for our drinks and lunch took two hours for two courses.
Staff never checked whether our food was okay or if there was anything else we needed, which was disappointing. Staff seemed to need some guidance about good customer service.
Lovely hock terrine came without bread and I was charged £1.50 for a small portion. It was deducted from my bill without hassle.
I'd go there again fir the quality if the food, pleasant atmosphere and building. But I'd be wary of peak times.

First impressions are of a night club! Fabulous dry martinis made with care, and a good range of gins and vodkas to choose from.

The lunch was certainly generous, and an interesting bourbon & honey glaze on the turkey 'shank'. Veg a bit soggy and overcooked—of the frozen variety. Nice atmosphere, but could do with better decor. Good value at a little over £10 per head, all in.

Lovely beer, no food on a Sunday.
