Run by a family of local fishermen and lifeboatmen and their wives and sisters, this is a perfect place for seafood lunches with no pretension. It overlooks a busy bit of sea; one can watch ships in the distance entering and leaving Portsmouth and Southampton with local sailing boats racing in the foreground and the perennial small lobster catching fleet always busy.
The menu is basic and concentrates on local seafood the wine list small and good, and it is a place once visited that you will always want to go back to.

Not an obviously glamorous shop but devoted to really high standards in food, especially their meat. By far the best butcher in the area.
