Having moved to the area I had been searching for a salon to meet my expectations - I am a fussy mare.  I think choosing a new hair salon is daunting for most people and you just want to get that feeling (similar to buying a house!) that you feel comfortable and excited when you go in and within 10 mins you know its the one.  Francesco in Sandbach was the 5th Salon I tried in 5 months and I have finally found what I have been looking for.  Annoyingly, I had avoided Francesco's initially due to the negative review placed by munksmum on here.  I was getting desperate as none of the salon's I had visited were the whole package, if you know what I mean.  I asked a lady who works in the fabulous Heart Tree shop in Sandbach where she had her hair done as it was so lovely....she said Francesco's in Sandbach so I decided to give it a try. 

They were utterly perfect.

The salon has a really great happy, positive atmosphere. 

The owner invests in the development of his staff so that they are up to date, well qualified and passionate about what they are doing. 

The salon is airy, modern and comfortable.

There is a beauty salon upstairs so you can get all of your maintenance done in one go! 

There was no rushing me at all in terms of deciding what I wanted and my colourist was confident to make suggestions whilst ensuring she asked loads of questions to ensure I got what I wanted. 

The team clearly have a passion for hair and they all seemed to practice what they preach with funky, well cut, well coloured inspirational styles. 

My colourist provided magazines to look for pictures that I liked, we discussed colours and she explained the process to me in layman terms.  I found her particulalrly warm and I felt able to take my time and say what I was/wasn't sure about doing with my hair.

There was absolutely no hard sell on products but when I asked about products the staff were confident in explaining and recomending products. 

I was asked several times if I wanted a drink by the owner himself even though I wasn't his client, I was offered magazines, I was even given a slice of Pizza as I was there so late as it appears the staff get together for a bite at the end of thier shift.  

I work in HR so I tend to people watch and the dynamics I observed were excellent.  It appears the staff are really content and happy there and everyone I spoke to had been there for years, some since the salon opened.  It came across in the service 100%

This is the first time I have gone out of my way to leave a review but I just felt so strongly about it and wanted to make sure that no-one else misses out on this great salon.  Try it if you are thinking about a change or looking for a new salon :)
