I found the service slow and the shop itself is very small. It's seating area is limited, and on a busy day it is always packed. In terms of food, nothing wrong, its the same old Subway.

Stocking all the essentials in stationary and arts & crafts, Lorimers also sells toys such as Lego. Has always been an important shop to me from buying Lego as a kid and nowadays work equipment (for my art-related uni course).

Great charity shop with lots of vintage clothing at really good prices. All nicely displayed and it doesn't feel cramped and dingy like other charity shops I go to. The only thing I would suggest is for a bigger men's section as there isn't that much!

Good service, large seating area, always good food. Perfect location next to blockbuster equals a night in with food and films. Parking bays situated just outside for those who want their KFC on the go.

Subway - Canterbury

When living in Canterbury I would always go here. It was a quick service at a cheap and affordable price. I would get the £3 deal - a six inch sub (sandwich/roll) with a drink.

The shop itself is relatively small with a seating area and is found very close to the Cathedral.

Run Of The Mill - Canterbury

The Run Of The Mill is a pub found on Sturry Road. It is popular with students and is open from 5-12 on most days.

I'd recommend this pub to students living close to the area as its a great place for an evening drink and to watch live sport.

This is a good place for pre-drinks before a night out at Chemistry or any other club in Canterbury.

Hobgoblin Music - Canterbury

Hobgoblin is a music shop found near the Fenwicks roundabout in Canterbury. It has a vast range of old and modern instruments. For example they have a range of violins - standard and then the most up to date and lightest models. Their percussion section is also aplenty. A lot of it is handheld manual add-ons like shakers and tambourines but there is also drum machines and electric beat based stuff that would be great for synth or pc based bands.

A very good fancy dress and party accessories shop. They sell many crazy and entertaining costumes. It is pricier than most joke or fancy dress shops, however what they sell here is of very good quality and worthwhile. What I really like about Jesters is how the shop is always updated. With every season or holiday there are new costumes and ideas put up in the window. They sell everything for any party needs.

Purley Arms - Croydon

The Purley Arms is a great place to go to watch the football. I'm sure I'll be down for the games in Euro 2012! For a relatively small establishment it has a decent sized seating area with several large screen tvs around the pub. It also has a fairly large smoking area.
