I tried Taiko Drumming for the first time a few nights ago, and it was great! The instructors were enthusiastic and explained things really clearly so that you were not only playing the drums, but started to understand the theory and technique.

There was a mix of abilities in the class but by the end we had mastered a rhythm that sounded great. We even managed to master all coming in at different times in a row which looked amazing. We learned so much in an hour, I can only imagine how good it would be to go to a few classes or an all day session.

I can highly recommend it!

I went to a Bollywood Dance Class here and really enjoyed it. It was hard work but I didn't have that "when well this be over" feeling I get at some exercise classes! The teacher was lovely and I really liked the Bollywood music.

The only suggestions I would have - the room was incredibly hot and I could have done with a few breaks to grab some water and a door/window open, and also having a warm-up section with no music on whatsoever is a bit uncomfortable. Other than those minor gripes I would definitely recommend it as a fun way to keep fit.
