I telephoned to book a cut and blow dry with a half head of highlights. To start with the guy on the other end of the phone could not hear me because music was up too loud in the salon. But he did eventually repeat back my appointment details to me.

I went along and my stylist spoke to me about what I wanted done with my hair. It emerged that I was not booked in for highlights just the cut. She told me I might have a half an hour wait after the cut before the highlights I said that wasn’t a problem as long as I could get the highlights that afternoon. She cut my hair. Then she went upstairs. It took me a while to realise she was finished! I went upstairs and was charged £42 for the cut (that had taken only 30mins including washing and blow drying my (very long) hair!). Anyway I asked about the highlights. I was told nobody could do them that day! They offered me no discount on account of me being inconvenienced. They also seemed like they couldn’t get me out of there fast enough. It seemed obvious that because they had messed up over the highlights they expected me never to return so they couldn’t care less about lasting impressions.

Overall they were unprofessional, the cut wasn’t even good and the atmosphere was one of apathy. The worst cut and worst customer service I’ve received in a very very long time.
