I joined this club when first opened and watched it go downhill as Holmes Place. I have recently rejoined. It is more basic as virgin active. It is also far cheaper. Yes it has seen better days. But it is kept very clean and the pool is pretty underused. The basic design is still classy, if shabby chic, and the showers are great - with doors rather than mouldy curtains. It is a tranquil place and I still love it.
