Visit this place quite regularly to have a few pints with friends.Really traditional country pub ,very cosy old thatched roof pub.The owner and landlord is a really nice friendly chap with great sense of humour . We had noted that the pub served chinese food and at first never thought of trying it as we were just out for a pint,that was until one day when feeling a bit peckish decided to try some food there ,and from then i we were hooked as it is undoubtedly the best chinese food for miles around and yet sadly still very much undiscovered.Now it may sound like i am the landlord or one of his friends trying to cheaply promote but i can assure you i am not ,just go there and try the food and you will realize the truth

Great pub with really nice polite staff ,always a pleasant relaxed atmosphere especially in winter time in front of their fantastic fireplace.Beer is kept really well and never had a bad pint there .Myself and a couple of mates used the pub quite a lot because it fitted our criteria of a great country pub serving good ale, HOWEVER then came the bombshell one evening when we visited and found that our usual pint of Lovibonds Henley Gold had reached the staggering price of £4 which i am afraid was a bridge to far for us to cross,never been there since which is a real shame ,come people you will say why didnt you complain to us but my answer would be ,you know that is over the top for a pint of beer,maybe you just want restaurant clients i dont know ,but if you want regular drinkers then please bring down your prices a bit

Had not been here for quite a while and have to say the food was still to a high standard ,however i did note that the service was nowhere near as friendly or attentive as my previous visit over a year ago ,we were there late on in the evening and also felt pressured to skip coffee and post meal chat to allow the restaurant to close ,not a pleasant end to a nice meal

Only went here because i got some vouchers online offering a good deal,so went in with open mind not expecting too much after reading previous reviews .Well i must say, i must either have different taste buds, or have gone to a different restaurant as the whole experience was top notch ,service was polite and not rushed ,the food was very well presented and really tasty and the portions were of a generous size.I have been to Al Gusto down the road too and found it very average compared to Prezzo. Only criticism i have about the place is i did think the drinks a tad on the expensive side even for a restaurant

easily best fish n chips in Didcot ,always seem freshly cooked and never dry or soggy like they are in most others ,very friendly service

Great food great choice and friendly service ,the veg risotto is particulary nice and best pint of green king ipa for miles around, and to top it off all at very reasonable price

ONE OF THE BEST THAI MEALS I HAVE TASTED IN AGES AND WITH GENEROUS PORTIONS ,VERY FRIENDLY EFFICIENT SERVICE AND PRICE REASONABLE TOO.

Really nice coffee professionally served,just wish they would not price their rolls and sandwiches so high as i would go there more regulary if this were not the case

Good food but not the best thai i have ever tasted ,very friendly service with Fullers beer on tap so on the whole i would definately go back

Great brekkie at a very reasonable price ,very authentic venue and lots of events going on thoughout the year .NOT so authentic i feel was the service which was at best surly,shame really, the welcome was not as i remember it back in 60`s,well thats progress for you hey , no use looking back i suppose
