Sharon's - Haydock

25 Quayle Close, St. Helens, Merseyside WA11 0GX

19-11-2008 (updated on 08-12-2008)

This is a nice little HAIRDRESSERS, and the staff are very polite and well dressed.
They welcome you in a plesent way and offer great customer satisfaction in there quality cuts.
Only thing i can realy fault this hairdressers for is the name.. as Sharons could be anything.. personaly it should be sharons hair, sharons hair salon, sharons hairdressers etc.

Siany Wow, one star seems a little harsh!

Lea89x better 4u???
after all its a review and i rated it at what i liked best!

J Pimblett & Sons - St. Helens

100 Cambridge Road, St. Helens, Merseyside WA10 4HA

30-11-2008

Mmm, john pimbletts is one of the best pie shops in sthelens.
Theres always a wide range of pies/pastys/cakes/sandwichs to choose from all at great prices.
This shop is based in the middle of sthelens, but closer to the night light of sthelens and hidden away from most big retail stores which is abit of a let down but still easy to get to and close to a subway.
They offer great meal deals most days.
The shop is always clean and the staff are always lovely and plesent.
The food can be pricey depending on what you buy but its extreamly tasty and good value for money.
The shop can be quite busy at times but thts cause the food is delisious and only sthelens has a pimblets pie shop.
Staff always wear ther health ans hygiene things (gloves hair nets etc) which is nice to see when handling your food

Waterfields - St. Helens

27 Church Street, St. Helens, Merseyside WA10 1AX

30-11-2008

Waterfields is based on church street in sthelens, the shop is quite small and can sometimes be very busy.
The prices are competative with other pie/pasty stores in sthelens and the staff are always dressed well and very plesent.
The staff always wear hair nets and always wear gloves when handleing food which is nice to see they have a good hygiene record.
They sell a wide range of pasty/pies/sandwichs etc. and pastry is lovely.
I would recomend this shop to anyone who wants to grab a quick bite to eat as there food is always cooked to a high standard and its very nice.

Galloways - St. Helens

6 Ormskirk Street, St. Helens, Merseyside WA10 1BJ

30-11-2008

Galloways is a big sop based in the middle of sthelens town centre.
They make and sell pies/pastys/cakes etc.
The pies are very tasty but with this shop being quite popular there sometimes isnt much of a selection made ready for you to choose from.
This shop also have a cake service and you should see some of the lush cakes they have on show. there huge and luk delish
This shop is based near other pie shops, but over all the staff are lovely the shop is always clean and the food is unbeatable its LUSH.

Morrison Supermarket - St. Helens

Boundary Road, St. Helens, Merseyside WA10 2PX

30-11-2008

I have to admit i do use baxters lane morrisons if i go to morrisons but been in this store a good few times.
Morrisons do offer great products some can be expence others can be very cheap, i think it depends on the offers etc at the time.
This morrisons is very large and staff offer good customer service.
Theres also a wynsors store just out of the morrisons (come from checkouts streight into wynsors if you wish) which is handy when you want to do a big shop and look for some shoes without having to go all over town.
Morrisons has a fresh counter range and i love the pies/sausage rolls they make but they are very pricey.
However on the other hand in the past 2 weeks i have had some amazing bargains.. 1ltr Smirnoff vodka £11, 2ltr Pepsi buy 1 (£1.49) get TWO free, Baby jars 10 for £4, etc etc..

Asda Stores - St. Helens

Kirkland Street, St. Helens, Merseyside WA10 2EF

30-11-2008

Asda in Sthelens isnt the biggest and the best but they do stock a wide range of products.
The store is quite big and has a George section but sadly no cafe.
The car park is quite bug but like others have said you need to pay £1 for your car parking ticket and then redeem ur £1 cash back when at the till, it can be annoying but this is so others dont use asda car park to go shopping in town so theres always enough spaces for the asda users which is understandable.
The staff are all well dressed and are all more than helpfull.
The food they stock is always fresh and they also offer a build ur own pizza range at the back of the store (ideal for those who like pizzas with random toppings lol).
There is also a self service till at asda which is ideal when you only have a few products to quickly scan through. they also have cah machines outside which come in handy

Iceland Foods - Haydock

2 Clipsley Crescent, St. Helens, Merseyside WA11 0UH

30-11-2008

Iceland is excellent value for money.
This iceland is based on a small retail park next to aldi along with a few other stores. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are very kind and offer great customer service.
Its also just over the Main road from a new Tescos.
Iceland offer a wide range variety of products, and are quite cheap..Ideal party food aswel as those frozen bits.
Some prices amaze me, how can thye make money from selling a bag of 40sausages for £2 :o..
Anyway.. Iceland also offer a delivery service, you either ring up anf order or go instore do the shop and they will offer to drop it off at ur door.
I would recomend this shop to any one as its fab.. always find a great bargain!

Haydock C & B Club - Haydock

Cooper Lane, St. Helens, Merseyside WA11 0JH

19-11-2008 (updated on 30-11-2008)

Haydock C & B, looks like a run down building just off the main rd in sthelens. The car park is very big but the building could do with a face lift.
However inside, it has a big function room aswell as a quietr rm for those locals.
The function room is quite big, and ideal for partys/occasions.
The staff are nice and the ale is cheap.
Some nice locals.

Haydock Catholic Club - Haydock

337-341 Church Road, St. Helens, Merseyside WA11 0LT

19-11-2008 (updated on 30-11-2008)

Haydock catholic is on church rd in haydock sthelens, (church rd being a main street) so very easy to get to and local to users aswel as shops etc.
Catolic club is quite big, and the staff are very polite and welcoming.
The ale is quite cheap, and the club is always clean.
Over all a nice little club with nice regs.
Ideal for a quiet chat/drink

Haydock Number One Club - Haydock

West End Road, St. Helens, Merseyside WA11 0AN

19-11-2008 (updated on 30-11-2008)

Haydock number 1 club was one of the best social clubs in sthelens and was based on west end rd (being the main road).
The club was massive and based next to other shops/pubs. and was always busy as they offered a bingo night also.
The haydock number one is no longer around as its now been over took by taylors family pharmacy aswel as Londis shop and the post office combined into 1.
