The Garage - Islington

20-22 Highbury Corner, London N5 1RD

16-06-2010

This place has always been a little overpriced in my opinion and its absolutely over run with people dealing narcotics BUT when you take that aside its a wicked club with a wicked party atmosphere

I would definitely recommend!

Abbey Road Studios - St. Johns Wood

3 Abbey Road, London NW8 9AY

16-06-2010

I actually worked on a music video for Michael Ball at Abbey Road

The staff here were really friendly and the whole day was a really nice experience

If I needed a studio feel for another music video I wouldn't hesitate coming back here again!

The Purple Turtle Bar - Reading

9 Gun Street, Reading, Berkshire RG1 2JR

16-06-2010

Came here a couple of weeks ago on a weekend roadtrip....

Had a wicked time with a really cool crowd. This place has reasonable prices, a good selection of drinks and a good atmosphere

I would come back

The Fat Surfer - Grays

79 London Road, Grays RM17 5YF

Not a bad place as music venues go.

Its quite spacious and the staff are really friendly, I've discovered some really cool bands here (my favourite most recently being Esoterica)

Sadly thieves are about in this place, whilst i was doing a photo shoot for a band my iPod was stolen from my bag!!!

good venue if a little underpopulated, and what population it does have includes thieves!

Prices are very reasonable though

Saks - Southend-on-Sea

23-24 Clifftown Road, Southend-on-Sea SS1 1AB

16-06-2010

Seen quite a few local bands play here over the years. Had some great experiences...

Latest experience though ( a couple of months ago) is that it tends to be populated by idiots who are clinging hold of their youth and still think they are the in thing!

Doncaster, South Yorkshire

BEST FESTIVAL ..... EVER!!!!!

I dont even need to wax lyrical about this!!!! Just check out the line ups....then check out the village!!!

The Sun Rooms - Southend-on-Sea

This dirty dishevelled place is landmark southend! I used to work here WAY back in the day and kept on coming back once I left

Saw loads of bands here

Good if dirty experience

O2 Academy Islington - Islington

16 Parkfield Street, Islington, London N1 0PS

I saw Alice in Chains here

AWESOME experience and one of the best gigs I've ever been to

The crowd were wicked, we bought multiple drinks as it was absolutely crammed and the whole night was one long great experience!!!

Definitely go and see bands here

London Astoria - Westminster

157 Charing Cross Road, London SW1P 3BU

Ive lost count of the amount of bands that Ive seen in this venue.... with only one or two exception they have been absolutely awesome events with a great crowd and a great experience....you can even buy REALLY cheap beer as well!!!

National Showcases Centre for Wales - Brecon

Dan-yr-Ogof, Abercrave,, Abercrave, Brecon, Powys SA9 1GJ

This is anothger place in Wales that I love

There is loads of stuff about Khymric history, dinosaurs and loads and loads of caves to explore

Only thing I would advise is if you have a whining girlfriend at the time of visiting lock her in the car boot!!!! she will spoil your day!!!
