Kitts Night Club - Chelsea

Classic Chealsea sort of venue: very small, expensive and exlcusive. I went here for an afterparty after an art gallery private view and I was suprised about how small it was - literally the size of my living room :S
Crowd are very sloanie (it is sloane sq after all) - I would not go back tbh.
Nando's Chickenland - Bath

I concur with Cpt Ben - this place is the s**t!! - in a good way.
Finnegan's - Galway

I came here a sunday morning in search of a “traditional irish breakfast”, as mentioned in some guidebook. Openening at 11am, this tavern-style pub did not dissapoint. Although we were the first ppl through the door, within 15mins the place was packed with locals…
For €8.50 you get a full breakfast which was absolutley fantastic! I fully recommend this place for a cooked breakfast.
MacDonagh's - Galway

This is a Galway institution for classic local cuisine, located right by the water: it is basically a chippy, where you go up to the counter, get ur food and go and sit down.
My cod and chips was fantastic! very fresh and the batter was not overwhelming.
You see a lot of locals having their lunch breaks here. Often with a glass of milk (irish tradition).
Cod, chips, mushy peas and drink €10ish and well worth it!!
The Kings Head - Galway
15 High Street, Galway

Big sized pub located in the centre of Galway. I wandered in here during the day, and quite frankly it looked pretty boring. However, when I returned in the evening it was fully packed out with a mixed fun group, listening to live music. The pub is much bigger that originally meets the eye, with a large back room/stage and a upstairs.
Drinks are reasonably priced.

This is a fantastic italian restaurent in Bath. The Pasta is glorious and the wine great.
The building is great, with the dinning room located in an old church (see pictures).
Strong recommendation!
Bottelino's - Bath
5 Bladud Buildings, Bath BA1 5LS

Authentic italian restaurent, serving great pizzas at credit crunch busting prices!!! I was suprised by the quality (great) given the price tag (special lunch deal maybe?)
Defo go here over pizza express or ask.
Marmaris Restaurant - Bath
4-5 Newmarket Row, Grand Parade, Bath BA2 4AN

This is my classic post-club grub venue! Service is excellent and good value. Apparently meals during the day are fantastic also!
The Second Bridge - Bath
10 Manvers Street, Bath BA1 1JQ

This is the best nightclub in Bath. Good music (not cheese) and atmosphere, fairly studenty crowd.
Has a more stringent door policy than most Bath nightclubs: shoes, shirt, sometime over21s, sometimes guestlist.
At the weekend, worth arriving early.
Bath Po Na Na - Bath
8-9 North Parade, Bath BA2 4AL

As with most bath nightclubs, this venue is located in a basement, with vouted ceilings. Music is good and the vibe is decent. Fridays are good.
Top tip: Do not lean against the walls, as they are very damp!
