The Breakfast Club - Spitalfields
This is the ideal place to get breakfast or brunch if you're after the quirky places of East London. Off Liverpool Street, The Breakfast Club is English brunch meets American pancakes! The deco is all about the American diner feel, waiters are pretty laid-back (don't go there if you're in a rush though, you may get a little stressed) and prices are reasonable for the quantities. You generally come out of there full and satisfied! I've been told they also serve diner.

First impression visiting this place: welcoming feel, charming staff, delicious canapes and lovely bubbly. I went there for a Nicolas Feuillatte champagne tasting so I haven’t tried the restaurant properly….yet. From what I could see, they have a large selection of wines, set menus as well as a La Carte and a downstairs ‘cavernous-type’ sitting area where I could see myself dining soon. Having said that, the place is rather pricey so better be for a special occasion!

A nice decent looking bar in the area. I came in for a few drinks & nibbles with friends after work and ended up staying until late and having dinner there.
Food is great - can highly recommend the Steak, Mushroom & Irish Stout Pie - staff very friendly, dancefloor available for the adventurous ones with DJ, and a wide range of beers and cocktails to choose from.
You can also have private parties: nice little area to book on the top floor with your own outside balcony for smokers (who can't beae the thought of going down 2 floors). And if you want to chill outside, there's a cute decking terrace at the front as well. I'll be back!

This is by far the best Brunch Stop I made after a heavy and long night out! Particularly handy as it is also about 200m from my house! I tried it once and this is now my regular Sunday morning stop.
Staff has always been very friendly, they always manage to get me a table even when it's packed, super value for money and great great food! The pleasant surprise was that the owner remembered me after the first visit.
I am never disappointed. I always go on Sunday morning though and never tried during the week but the menu is set so in terms of quality food for cheap, that should not really change on weekdays.
You have some sitting outside too to enjoy your brunch on sunny days and a good enough variety of dishes to choose from.
I highly recommend it.
