A small coffee-shop/bar on the simon dach ! Really nice place with a terrace that is sunny all the afternoon long, wooden benches. Staff are really nice, drinks are cheap and you can have things to nibble. Inside, it looks like an old but trendy pub, and upstairs there’s a cocktail bar from the 50’s ! They have magazines for you to read

These ice creams are a real delight! Really creamy and the flavours are nice. Daily new innovations, special formulas (with caramel sauce or Smarties), and the waiter is really cute and friendly! :) Also taste the hot white chocolate… The inside is very well done, big benches with low tables, bar against the glass window, and a sunny terrace. The area is lovely for wals and the prices are reasonable (0,80 euros a scoop). Just go there!

A shop that’s absolutely incredible ! You’ll find anything and everything … vintage clothes and accessories, bags, shoes, colorful shoes, great disco lamps, funny leather jackets, old-fashioned things coming straight from Taiwan, dresses with glitters , boxing outfits, rare magazines, old books … well it’s like Aladin’s cave

Here’s an original Imbiss take-away … The döner, falafels soups and other delights are all coming from Sudan !! If you’re allergic to peanuts, don’t go in cause there’s peanut everywhere … and it is delicious !! Not really good for your diet but their food tends to make you addicted ! And the waiter is especially nice !

The longest remaining piece of Berlin wall !! It’s a must-see if you’re a tourist. After the Fall, loads of artists were called to decorate this remaining piece. Between political slogans, surrealist illustrations, graffiti and real marterpieces ( the mortal kiss between Brejnev and Honecker or test the best : the Trabi going out of the wall), you will take great pictures and a history lesson.

You can’t find such a bar in an another place of the world. The Parisian girl I am is fed up with those posh places so I was surprised by this place facing the Spree river. Most of the place is outside decorated with old bumper cars and swings above the water! Well even if 7euros to get in can sound rather expensive, the place is just magic ! And inside you’ll find an old photo booth (4 black and white different pictures for 2 euros to remember your trip !)

A really nice bar/coffee-shop … sunny terrace, nice staff, latin music inside and wide range of food offered (huge breakfasts, Sunday brunches, big salads, pasta) and really cheap even though you it is really copious. (you often eat for less than 10 euros)

I’ve spent some of the best of my evenings in Berlin in the Astro bar…
decorated as though set in space, the place is filled with robots, keyboards, games from bygone eras….
A vodka-redbull will cost you 4euros, a gin tonic 3, shots are at 1.50, and mojitos at 4…
in short the prices are some of the most competitive on the street, there’s also a smoking room at the back, and the waiters are all as off-the-wall as the next, but that’s exactly what makes the astro so beguiling!
the dj is always great!

Apparently a place for art in the daytime, the Alte Weberei becomes an electro club by night… the “unkul” nights are especially well known! Surroundings are an old abandoned factory, clientele is a bit of a cross section (very gay), and some superb electro DJs!
