Nandos

Located inside Bar-M on the beach front, you might not have seen it if you were in at night as it transforms into a bar then!
This was my first and best experience of a Nandos and it was delightful! Come in here late evening fill yourself up on scrummy chicken then have a good time in Bar-M or elsewhere after.
Nandos in the UK is good but I don’t think it can beat this one.
USC - Glasgow

Decent sized store so you get a lot of gear in one place.
Unfortunately it’s damn expensive and if you shop around online you could save a fortune, even if you go to USC website you could probably save money.
They stock nearly all the big brands and have a decent range of sizes in all items.
It’s a bit rammed with too much stock though and get too busy at times and you just want to leave.
Clydebank Shopping Centre - Clydebank

Hmmm this is like a Jekyll and Hydeesque shopping centre.
There’s the nice half and the not so nice half. One end is all done up and the other hasn’t been touched for years!
There’s a lot of cheap shops such as the pound shop, home bargains but both are really big so do have loads of good stuff in stock.
You also have the likes of HMV, Primark, ASDA, TK MAxx which are all good stores
Fopp - Glasgow

You can always pick up a bragain in Fopp! Whether it is a DVD or CD there’s always a bargain.
Good sized shop as well so you can usually find what you want when you go in here.
Shame that a lot of other Fopps closed but good to see that this one remains
O'Neill's - Glasgow

A good stop off point in the merchant city.
They have excellent food deals on and my parents are always raving about how much they paid for so many courses of good grub.
There’s plenty of other pubs and restaurants around as well so nice to stop in for one then move on if your please.
Can get really busy though and overcrowded at points.

Only been in here for concerts and I really enjoy the place for them.
It feels nice and cosy and you get get a good view of the stage.
The bar can get hella mobbed at times so best try buy 2 pints at a time if you can.
There’s a nice wee couch seating area to the side if you can’t be bothered standing all through a gig.
Ticket prices are usually quite reasonable and you’re also on one of the main streets of Glasgow so always handy to continue your night out afterwards
Highlight Comdey Club - Glasgow

This is a fantastic night out! Been here quite a few times now and even went for my birthday night out.
If you sign up to the Jongluers newsletter they always send you out offers for cheaper tickets which is fantastic.
The comedians are usually not big name acts but always a surprise or two in each show.
You can eat here as well before the show and the drink isn’t too expensive.
You can buy buckets of 5 bottles of bevvy but the only problem wit that is they uncap every bottle so by the time you get round to the last one it can be a bit flat.
There’s also a DJ on afterwards or you can head to Walkabout up the stair and get free entry.

Good place to go for a show or performance. Would not recommend at all for concerts as it’s all sitting! It’s madness that Motorhead even play in here!
The armadillo is a nice venue as long as you can get seats on the floor level, the nose bleed seats are terrible and not worth paying for.

Awesome!!!
So much fun in this place it’s unbelievable.
All the different areas have a sort of theme and they all have their own unique rides.
My favourites were the Black Hole, Oblivion and Hex.
It can get way too busy though when the weather picks up and there are school holidays on. It may be worth investing in one of them fast track passes to enjoy more rides in the day.

Swimming and Ice Skating under one roof! Magic!
There’s quite a few slides and flumes in the swimming area and thoroughly enjoyable for kids to spend hours wasting the day.
You can then move onto a big of Ice Skating later on in the day as well if you fancy that. They provide ice skate hire as well.
