Travelex may offer the best exchange rates but it certainly does not offer the best customer service!!! unhelpful, rude and above all lacking manners. Maybe customer services course would be a good idea for certain individuals employed there (dyed red head girl & the individual at the vat till at the departure lounge northterminal  Gatwick at around 1pm on 14.10.12) There seemed to be too many people there and not enough of them working!!!! will not be using this service again.......

Michi_boo claimed my VAT refund last week via Heathrow and what a different customer experience it was!! fantastic staff willing to help out and with manners above all. I am sure that my experience in October does not reflect on your other branches in other airports and like i said above Heathrow’s VAT refund service was fantastic. In the same way i critisised my experience with Travelex in Gatwick in October, i can only compliment my Heathrow experience in November. Thankyou so much for taking the time to reply to my previous comment.
