Game - Swansea

It’s a small Game store, though will probably have the games that you are looking for. They have 2nd hand items too. It is also worth checking out HMV just opposite, gamestation and the computer game shop in the market so that you get the best deal though.
Jessops - Swansea

It’s quite a small Jessops so not a huge selection in photography items. Even though it’s cheaper to buy photography equipment on the internet it is always worth talking to someone to get some advice. The staff here are friendly and know what they’re talking about. Not bad.
JJB Sports - Swansea
Parc Tawe, Swansea, Wales SA1 2AL

Just a sports shop really. Though it is a large one, so you’re likely to find what yuo want in here. Seems to be based around sport clothing more than equipment. Situated in Parc Tawe.
Lovespoon Gallery - Swansea

A funny little shop full of strange wooden spoons. If you’re stuck for ideas for a loved one, why not buy them a spoon! Wouldn’t be top on my list of gift ideas though they are excellently carved and do look very nice. Worth a visit.
Marks & Spencer - Swansea
270 Oxford Street, Swansea, Wales SA1 3BB

Just like your normal marks and spencers. Well situated in town right on the main shopping street. It has a food section, gifts, cafe and your usual clothes. Spread over 3 floors.
Millets - Swansea

The cheap end of camping stores. If you want proper gear go to blacks or the other on on the high street. Though if you don’t want to do lot of camping then get something cheap from Millets.
Poundland - Swansea
238-239 Oxford Street, Swansea, Wales SA1 3BL

Always a fun place to shop to buy something cheap and feel good about yuorself. I generally wouldn’t buy things from here for general food/weekly shops, though it does have some nice items. I’d always go to the 99p across the road now though, much bigger, more stock and easier to move around in. Poundland is often far too busy with huge queues.
Specsavers Opticians - Swansea
39 The Kingsway, Swansea, Wales SA1 5LQ

Although very cheap, it leaves something to be desired. I’ve been in so many times because they keep giving me incorrect information, lack of information, incorrect lens…the list goes on. Although the staff are friendly they need to give more advice particularly to first time wearers of contacts.
Swansea Market - Swansea
Oxford Street, Swansea, Wales SA1 3JW
29-01-2009
A great indoor market, full of all the usual market shops. Including; second hand compuet games, jewelry, cakes, butchers, fish mongers, fruit and veg…the list goes on. The large centre stall in the market is the cockle stall, though it does seem odd to devote such a large centre piece to primarilly cockles and such. Well situated.

A good little shop, you’re general cheap cheap book shop full of the odd books, that although are probably not the best they are increditbly cheap. Great for silly gifts, cheap painting supplies, calenders and such.
