I attended a wedding reception in the Guildford Arms late last year.
All was going fine, food was good but...
at around 7pm the staff turned off the music and the whole reception got turfed out even tho we had the room till close. the staff were extremely unapologetic and had the BRIDE IN TEARS before we all had to leave. reason?
they wanted more covers for the evening restaurant. The Guildford Arms destroyed what would have been a perfect evening. message to the pub: in future please be aware of the responsibility you have when holding a wedding reception and dealing with the most important day of a couples lives.
