Si vous cherchez un restaurant où les frites sont en supplément lorsque vous commandez des moules-frites alors cette adresse est pour vous ! La note peut atteindre près du double de ce que vous imaginiez. C'est dommage car l'accueil n'est pas le pire de la ville lorsque vous êtes francophone. Quoi qu'il en soit, à fuir de toute urgence !!!

Forget about the decor, take a focus on your dish and enjoy ! In my opinion the best menu you can get for 16,5 € !!!

It's probably not the best of Wales but it's a very good one. Old fashion in a good way, we actually liked it. The staff were available, always trying to be thoughtful. But the thing is, when you come in the dinning room, you can't miss the cake stand : I could die for their homemade trifle, and one year later I'm still trying to get this taste back, but it's hard  !

For me the best meal I ever ate in Britain. The decor, the quality of food, the service ; everthing rocked !

A lovely adress with high standard of cooking. Sofisticated decor. The staff is nice. A little pricey maybe, but in accordance with the quality of the place, to me it is fair.

Il n'est guère possible de venir en Angleterre sans tester la cuisine indienne. Ce choix par défaut (aucun autre restaurant des docks n'a réellement attiré notre attention) s'est révélé un excellent choix ! Merveilleusement situé sur les Docks, à deux pas de notre hôtel, ce restaurant est loin d'être le plus cher de la ville. L'équipe est sympathique, nous avons reçu des conseils sur le choix des plats et cela s'est révélé fort utile, notamment pour commander une seule portion de riz pour deux, tant celles-ci sont importantes. Un moment très agréable .

Authentic place with great traditional food. The staff is very welcoming. Smaller portion are available which is a good thing. You can find a good choice of local beer, the waiter spontaneously made us try some. A lovely address with a lovely atmosphere.

I have to be honest. We were very disappointed when we first came in the Hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere, with a very tiny road to reach the hotel. The staff is ok, but not very welcoming. The bed is too soft. Breakfast cannot be served after half past nine and nine feels already like a limit…and the housekeeper tries every morning to clean your room before you leave… A part of the explanation is the profile of the customers they receive : lots of coach travelers. Everything is made for them, their taste… amongst them, you’re poor thing… Young people, it’s not for you !

Good food, with very large portions. It's a shame, you can't hardly take a desert after the first dish and I have to confess we came to England to eat homemade desert : we love English desert  ;–)  The lady of a certain age who received us (the owner ?) was not very welcoming, the staff was ok, no more. The dated looks wouldn’t have been a problem if cleanliness had been more obvious.  To be honest we didn’t have a nice feeling about this place, but make your own opinion ! Never mind, we ate our dish and left.

We were delighted ! We were here to visit your country, and to taste English food. Actually it was my second "fish and chips" of my all life. We can tell the owner and the staff were welcoming. Great food and very hygienic way of cooking. High recommandation from us !
