Jus along Great Portland Street Tube Station across there is the GI GI HUT. Although it is literally like a hut,inside its really quite nice and for 5.00 pounds you can eat as much as you like. Its mainly vegetarian and they 12 or more dishes to choose from. Takeaway box is 3 .oo which is also good value.

This end of Hammersmith has quite a few Persian restaurants but this is the best one. For under 20 pounds you can get a good 3 course meal with wine. There are options for vegetarians as well as meat eaters and the choice of kebabs and rice is wide and very nicely cooked.They make their won bread on the premises.

This pub near Great Portland Street Station is absolutely delightful if you are sightseeing and want a proper cooked English breakfast. For 4.99 you get unlimited tea or coffee and a combination of items to choose from.

Eat The Rael Food Company has branches throughout London and is a good place to have a quick nourishing meals. The sandwich fillings are interesting,quality good and they always have 3 or 2 types of soups in eithr big or small. The place here at Oxford Circus is busy but the service is not unfriendly. Reasonable meal for a fiver.
