This place does the best lambchops
Steaks and burgers are great too.
The food is outstanding, in a cosy and warm atmosphere. The service is average, some improvements can be made here.
Dockmasters - Docklands

The only good thing about this place is that its located in a lovely decorated house. And that is it.
The service is the worst I have ever experienced (and they charge 12.5% for service), we waited 30 minutes for our drinks, and then even longer for our food. The staff chose to ignore us, or get our order wrong.
The food was not good either, for the prices paid you would expect flavour and loveliness, we got less than average.
I left the place dissapointed and still hungry, and I shall not be going back.
Cafe 1001 - London
Dray Walk off Brick Lane, The Old Truman Brewery, London E1 6QL

Cafe 1001 has evolved from being a shady but charismatic place where many people rolled up joints inside giving it a smoky and chilled out drug den feel, to still being shady and charismatic minus the drugs!
Music is eclectic, friday nights Drum and bass, but they do chill, electronic and raggae.
Gets busy over the weekend period, they do cakes and burgers which are good. Its fast becoming trendy and hip which usually is a symbol of a great place’s demise…
Pretty soon i’ll be sounding cool saying “I use to go there before it got commercialised..” Go now before it loses its soul!

A rarity! They do HALAL Steak and Mash! Try it with mushroom sauce. Mine cost around £13 and was delicous. They have a Garden at the back and for those that want thier beers its bring your own. My one gripe is the Service…Slow!
I’m defenitely going again.
Maharani - Soho
77 Berwick Street, Soho, London W1F 8TH

We went there for saturday lunch (a group of six), we had to wait ages for our food, when it did arrive it was of poor quality and cold, and the portions were small!
They charged us as a group £20 per head (this was only thier chosen starters, a choice of main courses, and the first round of drinks) it would of been cheaper to order separately. To top it off the waiting staff were not particularly helpful. The place lacked customers so we don’t know why there was a delay to the food…perhaps…the vegetables were still growing and the chicken needed to be caught?
Don’t go there.
Violaina Can't understand RUZ's comment either. I am a regular, in Groups or just couple and only ever see happy customers. This place serves the best traditional indian food ever! It's freshness and flavours are incredible! Never had indian food like this before.

Busy with Canary Wharf types during weekdays, but weekends is alot less packed. Does food and cocktails aswell as usual drinks.
Has open seating outside in the front which is great for summer.
Prices could be a little cheaper.

A really nice scenic park. great views of Buckinham palace and other less impportant buildings. Brilliant view from the bridge. To relax go to the inn in the park.
Well kept, nice to jog in.
