(updated on 15-04-2012)
Largest seated fast food outlet in Belmullet.
Great special offers every month.
Tasty food and the port of call for all those who reside in the UK but show their faces in August looking for curry chips or a snack box.
New pizza’s are very good and a great price.
Loads of new products and owner Stephan is always looking for new things nice for his customers.
Sunday breakfasts, meals during the day or pop in after a few pints.
Cottons Dry Cleaners - Belmullet
American Street, Mayo Belmullet
05-12-2011
Top class service from top class staff.
Always on time, professional and with a smile. No job is too big for them. Next day turnaround.
Reasonably priced and don’t be afraid to haggle with a big order.
Phoenix Chinese - Belmullet
Barrack St, Belmullet
23-01-2011
The only Chinese take-away in Belmullet so no real competition and they know it with the prices they charge.
Not excessively expensive but far from the cheapest!
Open a few years now and the menu has remained the same. So kinda sick of the same old things. I know it's hard to change a Chinese menu but a new dish now and then would be nice.
On the food front it's tasty and never hear any complaints. Take-away and restaurant don't really have much difference. Little things like charging for prawn crackers when you get a take-away just rub me up the wrong way.

I have known Samantha Rathling the MD of expect for a number of years and I can say she is one of the most entrepreneurial women in Ireland.
Her company Expect Talent provides companies with quality candidates, who are an exact match to the company’s requirements for a range of positions.
They really understand the clients business and, it is clear that there is always an extensive screening and interviewing of candidates to ensure a match to the clients requirements.

Lough Lannagh Lodge - Castlebar
Old Westport Road, Castlebar
23-01-2011
This is a complete package.
Lough Lannagh is a number of different services all rolled into one.
1- Bed and Breakfast
2- Self Catering Accommodation
3-Catered Events
4-Conference/Training/Meeting Services
5-Caravan park
6-Fitness Centre/Gym
I have attended meeting here, conferences here and have held trainings here. Staff are pleasant to deal with. Fixtures and fittings are getting a small bit dated.
Food is always homely and tasty. I've had breakfast and lunch here numerous times.
Parking is a small issue but we always managed to find somewhere.
Dublin Airport - Dublin
Dublin
23-01-2011
The largest and busiest of our Irish Airports.
The fact it is big and busy means it's not my thing. I would much rather fly from Shannon as both are equal distance from my house in Mayo.
Parking for long term is (like all airports) expensive and a good distance away. Shuttle buses are frequest and usually with a smile. The flat battery service in this Quickpark private car park is excellent!
Terminal 1 is getting a bit dated but sure who and what isn't. Terminal 2 is looking sleek and sexy but I haven;t flown from there yet.
Staff are usually friendly and helpful but prices for food and duty free are Celtic Tiger stuff and haven't been adjusted.
Planet Embroidery - Cork
Unit 10A College Commercial Park, Magazine Road, Cork
23-01-2011
I've known Dan and Emma from Planet Embroidery for a number of years.
A great company and they will really go out of their way to help you source the best products to suit your promotional needs.
I was so confident with their work I recently received a call from my local gold club asking did I know a company that did promotional products for their Captain's Day. I happily referred on Dan and the whole process was done over the phone after a catalogue was delivered in the post. Everyone was delighted with their work and it showed that Planet Embroidery truly are a nationwide company as I'm based in Mayo.
Highly recommended.
Ard Bia at Nimmos - Galway
Long Walk, Spanish Arch, Galway
23-01-2011
Wow wow wow. Yet again amazed how nobody else on Qype has reviewed this place yet.
Great location, amazing feel to the place. Love it.
Went for brunch with a friend of mine here recently and we both had their delicious berry pancakes.
Ard Bia is situated on the ground floor and Nimmos is the restaurant on the 1st floor by what I can make out. The building seems to be an old fisherman's cottage so is broken up into many quirky little rooms.
A lot of sat navs and map applications (even the one on my own phone) has the address as 2 Quay St but they have move to Long Walk in Spanish Arch. Here's their own explanation from their very cool site - "Ard Bia was on Quay Street five years ago then we moved into Nimmos and ran both places for two years. In 2008 we moved Ard Bia to Nimmos building in the Spanish Arch. That space is now the combination of both Ard Bia and Nimmos."
We had a table for 2 at the window and you can see where Lake Corrib joins into the Galway Docks.
Service was super friendly and with a smile. I had the tea and when the bone china tea cup and mis-matched saucer came out my OCD actually liked it and it's the likes of this that makes Ard Bia what it is, great.
Pancakes were to die for and when the waitress asked me if I would like a "hot drop" for my little enamel tea pot I knew I would be a customer for life.
Highly highly highly recommended and so glad my friend brought me here. Looking forward to sampling more of the award winning menu. They are one of the 100 top restaurants in the Bridgestone Guide in Ireland 2011! Congrats but I can see why.
If you thought it didn't get any better it does. They make their own "stuff".
Award winning Chutneys, freshly baked breads, their own bread boards and my favourite they have their own pottery with different designs but my favourite has to be the Child of Prague design!
Lovelifesong Sadly the Lady serving, who wore all black, was so rude to my wife and I that the food was difficult to fully appreciate.

Bon Secours Hospital - Galway
Renmore, Galway
23-01-2011
Wow a hospital that doesn't feel like a hospital!
My mum stayed here recently for a couple of days (nothing too serious) and I visited.
Free car park impressed me to start with. Bright modern and airy reception. Friendly staff and a clear signage system.
She was in a double room and but seperate Tv with a headphone system.
Very impressed and where I'll go if I ever needed my bits sorted out!
Ard Ri House Hotel - Tuam
Milltown Road, Tuam
23-01-2011
I actually like this hotel.
It's like a big house with the way it's designed. Only 20 mins from Galway I stay here on a regular basis mid week for business.
Parking outside the front door. Nice size reception with friendly staff. Large bar with good bar food.
Large conference room with smaller rooms to suit every need. Free wifi throughout.
Rooms are well appointed and of a good size. Suites are large but feel a bit sparse and clinical just due to lack of pictures and soft furnishings.
Overall a good hotel and close to Galway if budget is high on your list.
